Highly disappointed with my trip this time… I came with my boyfriend who is from Costa Rica and doesn’t yet have an American ID. He is 23. Every time we have come here in the past a server has checked his Costa Rican Id and has served him a beer. However, this time our server had never seen an ID like his so she took it back to her manager to be checked out (which is fine, i get that part). When she came back she said that her manager told her she could not serve him because it must be a state ID. This makes no sense. So if I am visiting another country and only have my American ID they won’t serve me because I don’t have an ID from that country? Why couldn’t my boyfriend get a beer at a place where he has been served several times in the past, and why can he not use his Costa Rican ID which proves that he is 23? Just because he doesn’t have an American ID he can’t be served at Applebees? Crazy.

The food is consistently good, service is friendly, and prices have remained reasonable.Applebees has a very neat atmosphere, with pictures, and memorabilia from the local sports teams they support which speaks volumes to their community support!Applebees continues to be a favorite. This specific location has been very consistent over the years. I highly recommend stopping in!
