“Where to even begin! First, the service—impeccable! All 3 girls working were super friendly, welcoming, hospitable and did not judge me when I went back for more. The pain au chocolat was the BEST PAIN AU CHOCOLAT i have ever had. Honestly probably better than places I’ve had in Europe. I also chose the prosciutto manchego sage croissant and went back for another..both pastries were so delicate, light, flakey soft and satisfying. My sister who doesn’t eat a ton of meat was impressed with the quality and taste. I will 100% be back every single weekend. Also, prices were absolutely fair and I would actually pay double bc there are places that make similar pastries but could NEVER compare. The Modern Crumb will be the ONLY place I will buy sweet bakery treats from here on out.“
“This is the real deal! If you want artisanal cheese and bread look no further. The young man who helped us was one of the bakers ands showed a true passion for what he did. We bought three different cheeses, frolic, cheddar, and a blue cheese and two loaves of bread, a rosemary and a cheese focaccia. Also they have a selection of meat as well. I got some duck bacon, I cooked some this morning and it is amazing. They also turned us on to Ironbound farm cidery and restaurant, check this place out as well.“
“Went to this new bakery in Nazareth, PA today. The bagels were soft and delicious, baklava great…..the rice pudding is insanely good! I would definitely recommend! The owner was so welcoming & friendly. So happy to tell us about each product…..love, love loved this bakery. I will definitely be going back. “Amazingly delicious pie! Sweet or savory, even vegan, if you are looking for pie, they've got you covered!We walked out with warm Chicken Curry and Aussie hand pies. O. M. G. Delicious! Thankfully, we had an inkling that they were going to be good, so we also swept up their last Chicken Curry pie!Take home pies are pre cooked, they just need to be warmed. She recommended thawing overnight, then popping in the oven 350°F for 40-45 minutes til warmed inside.I was looking for lunch, so haven't tasted their sweet pie... Yet!There isn't a sign above the door and it's small, so you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it.Kid-friendliness: For picky eaters, the veggies aren't overly visible! Cooked to a delicious filling and over the meaty or chickpea bits like a sauce of love!“
“I never like to say something is the best I've ever had, because I can't remember every instance of eating something, but I can confidently say this bakery has the best baked goods I've ever eaten, and I've eaten A LOT of baked goods. I just finished eating a cherry pie pastry; it was unbelievably good, and I don't even really like cherries. I have no idea how they manage to achieve such intensely good flavor, but everything I eat is somehow better than the last.Also, far and away the best bagels in the area.“
