I typically don't leave negative reviews, but this was noteworthy in my opinion.I just went there with my girlfriend on a beautiful day, wanted to play mini golf and get ice cream as a day date.Went up to the window, stood there for 5 minutes, and wasn't greeted or acknowledged once. The girl inside looked directly at me about 3-4 times, but just kept doing what she was doing. She even looked at us several times from inside as we got into our car to leave after being completely ignored.Zero acknowledgement, and there were no other customers being tended to at the time. Super disappointing, and in my opinion just bad business.

The restaurant itself is good... but the mini golf was terrible.. turf all ripped up hard to hit a ball. Very disappointingQuite a few of the turf throughout

I seriously hate to be this person but this place was disgusting.. I was here last year for the first time and it was dark so I didn’t realize just how war torn and dirty it actually was ?My sister came up from Bergen county for A visit with her daughter and her two boys and they wanted to play mini golf after dinner,I mean come on people!! I honestly believe they make enough money selling overpriced ice cream to cover the expense of A little care and yearly repairs on the golf course.. weeds ,Torn and worn greens and the water literally stunk like sewage.. the little guys were gagging.. not A good impression..

Nice little indoor eating. Reminds me of picnic fare but indoors. Short but filling menu. The staff are always very friendly.

My BLT was horrible, dead lettuce barely fried bacon. My grandson had a chili cheese dog and cheese fries his was good.Soda was watery. Then we played golf. The course was horrible, very dirty and overgrown. I told them they said we know. Why didn't I get a discount then if they knew? I had know way of knowing until after we paid to get inside the gate. Never again total cost 30$ , what a waste !!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY.

This place is terribly run. My family showed up almost 30 minutes before closing to get a couple ice cream cones and they closed early. They wouldn't even come to the window. They had their welcome to Castlegate sign lit up but small closed signs that weren't lit up over the windows. This isn't the first time this has happened either. It's happened several times over the last few years. It's absolutely ridiculous that they are advertised as being open until one time and then they close well before they are supposed to. That's not the way to run a business at all.
