The golf cart's break did not work way down the stiff hill from the driving range. It may have slipped on the piles of leaves. It wouldn't stop, got faster and spun. I got thrown out from the cart. My 9yr old son was able to stay in the cart but got very scared and cried. But luckily not seiously injured, just many bruises & scratches. They gave me a refund of the cart, but did not pay for the medical bill. You better not get hurt in this golf course as they won't take care of your injury.

Course itself was fine. Ranger was giving us a problem about pace of play when we were already halfway down hole 8 after only an hour and 15 minutes on the course. There was a group of 4 walkers ahead of us so we couldn’t play any faster even if we wanted too. The older guys behind were yelling at us to hit up on the group ahead of us. Those guys were not the courses fault, but the ranger somehow agreed with them that we were the issue. Next time I’ll just hit my hybrid onto the group that’s 200 yards ahead since that’s what the ranger wanted. Ruined the vibe of the day.

Nice course very bizzy on a Sunday which you would accepted. But the old ranger trying to hurry everyone up was stupid. All you did was wait! No one was going anywhere! Besides that it was a good time.

They say industry wide practices is cart only before 11am but i have played almost every public course in NJ and them and one other had that on their course so if its industry wide why was it only 2 courses of the over 50 i have played to have these practices they speak of

I promised after the last time I played several months ago, I would never play here againThe greens were aerated but never rolledMultiple tee boxes are dirt and mudThe rough was way too high and we couldn't find at least half of our shotsThe worse is what they call cart paths They call them cart paths but mostly first and rocksThe roads there are are all broken up unlovely and dangerousMy final review.... spend your 50 bucks somewhere else

I have had the honor of putting together Mountain Lake Fire Company’s golf outing the past 4 years. We have been using Harker’s Hollow Golf Club for our annual outing, and will not be going elsewhere. We could not be happier with the condition of the course, the quality of food that is served, and the overall customer experience. Joe and his staff are top notch, easy and enjoyable to work with, there for any question you may have, and truly bend over backward to make sure your event is the best it can be.Thank you Harkers Hollow Golf Club for helping us fundraise, all while having a great day of golf! Any fire companies or businesses in the area, we highly recommend contacting Joe, and using Harker’s for your next event.

The course has come a long way since the new owners took over several years ago. They have improved every facet from the course to the pro shop to the bar/dining area.
