Got a sandwich and salad combo. The place looked clean and food looked fresh. Issue is when I went in there was only one person ringing out their items and NO one else... It took about 7 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my existence. I understand online orders come in and it can be difficult to multitask, however there were 4 people working. Not one of them took the time to say "we will be right with you" or something along those lines... I legit started walking towards the door to leave and finally one of the girls turned around to ask if I was picking something up. On top of that, after deciding to stay it took about 15 minutes to get a salad and an small sandwich... Overall, the food was fine but surprisingly Panera offers better taste, better price, and better service...

Ordered two salads on 10/11/23 from Piscataway location. Ordered the Harvest and Caesar Salad. The lettuce was old and brown in both salads . And there was barely any chicken. Plus we tried calling multiple times and the phones do not work!

The 2 young ladies behind the counter were about as rude as a person could possibly be. I was in line with only 1 person ahead of me and they not only ignored us, they intentionally avoided all eye contact. After 10 minutes both myself and walked out without ever being acknowledged. Hope the business fails. Miserable.

Art of Salad is undeniably good--actually, it's really good. However, I must admit that it falls on the pricier side. I've tried salads from various places around here, and strangely enough, most salad spots don't stick around for long. But Art of Salad is a real gem and arguably the best salad joint this town has ever seen. Seriously, their salads are top-notch. One thing to note is that, in my experience, there isn't much seating available, usually just a basic setup. However, the line moves pretty swiftly, and there's a certain level of customization allowed. You can request specific elements for a salad that's already on the menu, so it's not a strict "what you see is what you get" situation (at least in my experience). Now, while this place is really good, I sometimes feel that the focus on the art of being healthy with a salad can overshadow the actual healthiness. Many of their salads are bursting with flavors, thanks to the abundance of toppings. This can counteract the primary purpose of a traditional salad, which is to be a low-calorie, nutritious option that keeps you full. I'm not saying all their salads are unhealthy, but it's easy to surpass 500+ calories if you're not careful with your choices. All in all, if you're looking for a salad spot on the go, you won't be disappointed with Art of Salad!

Hello! I am writing today because my visit at art of salad wasn’t the best. When I walked into the store to get my regular salad I walked into what felt like a desert. Now this wouldn’t be such a problem if non cold items were being served but it’s salad where the items can perish and go bad. I immediately walked out and was greeted with a breeze outside even though it was 90 degrees. There is no reason that the outside air should be more refreshing. Not to mention the workers in this insufferable condition. Temperatures this high are not up to code. Management needs to step it up or I will not be returning. Don’t come unless you want sweaty salads. Besides this issue the food is good so I recommend coming when it’s cold.

First time trying this place and the food was awesome! We had turkey avocado BLT sandwich, turkey chili, split pea soup and falafel salad.

Very disappointed in the salad today. Considering a salad from here costs almost $20, I would think everything would be fresh and crisp. That definitely was not the case today. The chicken was extremely chewy. The romaine lettuce was wilted. Disappointed is an understatement today.

Stopped in for lunch in the shoprite mall strip. They offer chopped salad with plenty of options. I chose the spinach, salmon chopped salad with tomatoes (cherry), cucumbers, and carrots with balsamic vinaigrette dressing mixed in. All the ingredients were fresh, and the service was quick, even with a line.

nasty food and not like the pictures on uber at all. I got the veggie burger with sweet potato chips. chips were old and stale. burger was soggy and the patty tasted horrible. My VEGGIE burger smelled like meat. falafel bites are not true falafal and were the same as my veggie burger patty. everything was just nasty.

$15 for a salad. 5 people waiting and only one person behind the counter working and they discontinued the side you get with the salad but didn't lower the price by anything! Not worth it

Well I guess I will not be ordering from my favorite salad place anymore. I ordered a salad today and I found hair twice in my salad. Need to require employees to wear hair nets.

Foods good but you guys close way too early smdhUpdate: okay I feel like a self centered jackass lol makes sense they close early no one buys good there after lunch probably really this area is only popping when he’s day light and people working I’m on an overnight shift so good is limited for us. They deserve the 5 star.

I'm am completely obsessed with Art of Salad! I travel all the way from Trenton because of the atmosphere, vibes, super fresh ingredients especially the sweet potato chips (omg)! By far best service (always a great experience) and salad, panini... fill in the blank here..around! Keep up the great work! Also be sure to stop in here if you are in town, you won't be disappointed ?..Dietary restrictions: They are very mindful about cross contamination with meat products, greatly appreciated!
