I’ve been coming to Queen City Coffee Roasters since 2020. I’m always looking to support local coffee shops as Starbucks and Dunkin’s quality is severely lacking. After four years of continuous store visits and door dash orders, I am always greeted and recognized by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Regardless of my drink, hot or iced, each team member can answer questions and slightly modify the drink if necessary for your palate. They always have fresh pastries and now even have delicious breakfast burritos. It’s nestled into a cute spot in Plainfield and the shop itself is always feature local artists and they have several events a month. My drink recommendation is the Spanish latte. Iced or hot, I guarantee you won’t have a better latte.

I totally recommend coming to this coffee shop. Ever since my friends and I found this shop, it has become a regular hangout spot where we go to either study or just hang out after school or even in summer break. I enjoy going because of the atmosphere and the brownies, it’s a hidden treasure and I’m glad we found it. Defientely try their Spanish Latte, croissant, brownie and banana bread they are to die for!

Their iced coffee is delicious, I would recommend coming here to buy myself another iced coffee for when I can come here to study for colleges. I also recommend ordering the chocolate chip cookie and ask to heated up because when tasting the warm chocolate chips with iced coffee it is very refreshing. I’ll come back to order myself an iced coffee with chocolate chip cookies.

The staff does a great job at greeting customers, keeping the area clean, maintaining community interactions by promoting small businesses, donations, and introducing new artists by displaying their art.I love getting my Spanish latte from here, they also have great vegan options at times and on the go items to pick. While you’re at it why not stay and study or read a book?

We were here for the first time, a very cozy place and incredibly delicious coffee! They have different types of coffee, they kindly helped us choose the coffee we wanted. Aesthetic place! Thank you!

The other day, I was at home and wanted a cup of coffee. I quickly realized that I had various coffees at home that I have accumulated over the years, with all different ways to make them as well as various syrups to complete them to my own standard of perfection. So why search online for a coffee shop? I quickly realized what I was looking for…. I didn’t just want a cup of coffee. I wanted to experience a cup of coffee in a place where I felt at home away from home; an experience so rare but not impossible to create I believed, if only some business were to care and even value creating such an experience for the coffee drinker.I sighed and did a Google search, while resisting the temptation to think that I might be an outdated fool for even thinking such a place might exist. I decided to give this place a try, not abandoning all hope just yet. What I discovered was a place with a high ceiling and big bay windows facing the street. I was greeted with a smile as I approached the counter and felt like I was “seen.” The vibe was a feeling like I had been invited over to a familar stranger’s place to relax and just be. Nothing forced, nothing fake, and nothing artificial. As I enjoyed my delicious cup of coffee I observed that just about every single customer that walked in was greeted by name and even one was greeted by his last name: “Mister” so and so. Wow.A place such as this, is what humanity craves. A place where the perfect environment is created that can help man to reset his interior life in such a way that he can begin to “see again.” This place for me is more than good coffee. The coffee is an excuse to be able to become whole again by unplugging and just being home, in somebody else’s home where hospitality, quiet, and good vibes reign supreme and in a beautiful place. I knew I wasn’t crazy in believing that a place like this should/could exist and I found it. Thank you.

My favorite coffee shop in New Jersey! The atmosphere is bright, pleasant and clean, the service is attentive and kind (and very patient), the coffee is excellent, and the cardamom buns and scones could handily compete with the ones I’ve had in Manhattan (and I would call myself a pastry enthusiast). I can’t recommend this place enough, really.
