I love Daniel's Bistro. Have been going for years, and most recently about a month ago, and it was perfect. It has great vibe, staff is personable, it was a group of five so we ordered a lot of appetizers and desserts, too. Will be back again soon.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. I even enjoyed the complimentary bruschetta and mini tomatoe soup. I do think it was a little on the expensive side with some smaller portions. The scallop dinner had 4 scallops. The crab risotto had only 3 pieces of crab meat on top of the risotto.Everything was delicious, but maybe for a special night out. Expect to spend around $100/person.

We were about to try this restaurant this week, until reading the reviews. That make the owner and his nasty wife sound obnoxious and unfriendly.Every complaint about the nasty wife’s attitude goes without comment from Daniel. Obviously we know who wears the pants in this marriage. As for the waiters and food, they come with very good reviews.
Delicious dinner tonight at Daniel’s. I had Atlantic Char while my husband had Grilled Veal Chop. They brought us a small cup of lentil soup with a side of bruschetta plus the yeast raised hot rolls which were to die for! Our entrees were very good but we really splurged on dessert: berries with zabaglione and bananas foster- both made table side! Then they brought a taste of double chocolate brownies with raspberry sauce! I also had coffee, which was just right. It’s BYOB, which we liked and took our favorite wine to enjoy. Desserts ranged from $9 to $14 while entrees were from $32 to $52. Our total bill was $120, which we thought was good for what we got. The staff was polite and professional . We got to meet the owner and Chef, M. Bass- who was very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely go back. In warm weather, they even have outdoor dining.Parking: Parking is right at the side of the restaurant, plus you can park on the street.

I visited this restaurant with my family in September and I have probably thought about it at least once a day since. Our experience was wonderful. The staff made us feel so welcome and were very attentive. Every dish was made to order and was beautifully presented. Beyond that, the food was incredible! I wish I could have tasted everything on the menu. I'll definitely have to be back. Each plate was well balanced and you could tell that chef Bass truly loves the food that he is preparing and treats each dish with care. I cannot say enough great things about this place. It is a bit of a splurge, but its worth it. If you truly love a really special dish and want to treat yourself, I seriously encourage you to visit this restaurant :)

Very impressive. Great service and even better food- Had the duck breast. Perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. The foie gras accompaniment put it over the top. The owner was very personable and met with all tables at the end of the meal. 5 stars my friend.

First time here since new ownership and what a difference! Warmly greeted by the owner(chef) as soon as we were seated. Great first impression and things only got better. The best Osso Buco I’ve ever had anywhere. My wife’s fish (Artic Char) was perfection. Our waiter(Joe) was personable and professional. Our busboy also was attentive and outstanding. This is good at it gets in a relaxed, comfortable environment.Worth every dollar and BYOB! We look forward to being regulars when we are at the shore March-October.Parking: Right next to restaurant
