I came here because of the great reviews. I ordered fish and chips. Staff was very nice but unfortunately some of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The breading was soft and the fish was mushy and falling apart. Would not recommend.

Been here (the channel drive location) many times over last several years during all 4 seasons… seafood always fresh, prepared perfectly & absolutely delish. Not fancy or over the top preparations, just straight up awesome seafood. Additionally, the portion sizes are large &&&& priced extremely well in this day & age. We go here for lunch & dinner (& sometimes just for a snack!). Our favorites are the New England clam chowder (amazing flavor & loaded!), shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, & broiled/fried seafood combos. The fries are equally amazing!!! Service is always friendly & efficient even on their busiest summer days when the inside & outside areas are packed. I’m so glad we live only about 25 min away & can enjoy this gem year round!

When visiting Point Pleasant Beach on the Jersey Shore, it is imperative that you stop by one the many many many seafood restaurants available; but if you're going to enjoy some top quality seafood and reasonable prices, the you need to stop by Shore Fresh Seafood. First of all, it's important to point out that they were still open in the middle of winter, which alone is a testament to itself. Especially in a town where 90% of the restaurants and businesses are closed for the season. The second important piece of information is that whoever the chef is at This restaurant, knows how to cook scallops...PERIOD. It was a beautiful sunny day, but cold as ice and windy, so we decided to grab an early lunch to warm up. They offer a $20 lunch special which gives you your choice of sandwich with fries and a soup/salad. Wow, wow wow... I've had a lot of scallops in my life, and I've been pretty critical on how they're prepared; and they just know how to do it right. Today's lunch Choices Include: - Fried Scallops Sandwich - Shrimp Chowder - Clams on the Half shell

The bathrooms are outside in another building. Brrr in winter. I found a square piece plastic in My soup and they insisted it. I never gave me a receipt for my.very disappointed. Won't go back

Excellent food. The Lobster Roll was amazing, with large pieces of lobster. The calamari was absolutely delicious. The French fries were also excellent, not greasy or over salted.

It was okay. Lobster roll was lobster salad, not buttery chunks as I hoped. Oyster sandwich was a little light on oysters. Steamers were good, but at $18 it was more than $1 per clam. Crab cakes and Manhattan clam chowder was tasty, but the New England chowder not so much. I'd go back if I was in the area, but wouldn't do a special drive (50 minutes for me).

Shore Fresh is amazing! I’ve been to purchase their fresh lobster and scallops and also dinner for JS restaurant week and both were so so delicious! Definitely a point beach favorite and looking forward to coming back! I love Shore Fresh! I come here once every couple of weeks with my wife, as it's one of our favorite restaurants on the Jersey Shore. She usually gets the broiled seafood combination and I get the the lobster roll. During the winter we take home some of the homemade lobster bisque as well. Staff is always friendly and attentive, place has a great atmosphere, and food is always consistent. Love Shore Fresh!!

Stay away from this place at any cost. The only positive note I can say is that the Clam Chowder, microwaved as it was, tasted good. Everything else was horrible. Overcooked fish, the item formerly known as fried shrimp was even worse. Offset by the fact the fish was undercooked (think raw). Waitress never asked how the food was, even with me sending the entire plate back. The last straw was their completely bogus billing practices. They add random amounts to everything you order. $15 menu item magically is $15.89 when the bill appears. This is for EVERY item on the menu. See attached pictures....It's not a lot of money by any stretch, but multiply this thievery by hundreds/thousands of orders, and you'll see it's important.
