This place use to be good. Ordered a maverick burrito. IT was nothing more than a wrap overloaded with rice and beans. Could not find any chicken and very little cheese or anything else. $40 + order for this, a salad and some chips. They are local business, but I've grown tired of taking a chance and being disappointed.

Terrible. Ordered a black bean burrito with rice pico sour cream and Guac, and they gave me a burrito containing only black beans. My wife kept taking bites of the burrito, desperately searching for anything other than black beans. After about the 5th bite she decided to investigate and found no evidence of any other ingredients (see photo). Ordered chips and queso, and they forgot to include queso. Ordered the jenk chicken burrito, and it was full of grizzle. Never again.Better off eating leftover pizza heated up in the microwave (speaking from experience).

This place use to be good. Figured we would give it another try. Burrito was dry with no flavor and barely any meat. Mahi taco salad literally had no fish on it and lacked any seasoning. Prices were ridiculous for the quality of food. Sad to say chipotle is even better…

I have been going to this surf taco for years and never had a problem. Well, that's until about 6 months ago. Service and food quality has gone so downhill. I was very disappointed in the service and food quality my last visit, so I asked to speak to a manager. Thats when I met a rude woman named Sarah. If she would have been nice and just remade my order, I would continue to be a loyal customer, but after this experience I can assure you I will not be back.

Unknown to beach goers, just a few lanes across the best place to eat healthy Mexican fusion... enjoyed it.
Always love hitting surf taco when we are in Point Pleasant. Updated interior looked great. Our order taker maybe was having an off day and a little rude. Other staff were very friendly and our tacos/burrito were delicious as always!

GOOGLE reviews bought me to this eatery..Was greeted by the cashier, who was patient as I looked over the menu.Upon selecting my food choice: Shrimp Burrito, which came with 'chips' = nachos, topped with a lime.The burrito was filled with tasty rice & cabbage, Pico de gallon & white cilantro sauce. Bought my own beverage: Water...Note: make sure you have utensils.. the burrito opened @ one end,A number is given after ordering, so one may sit, wherever (large seat selection) and food's bought to the table.. Unfortunately, that person wasn't too Pleasant ( he walked away after taking the #... no chance to say Thanks or ask a question).After dining @ Surf Taco, upon leaving, I walked by two tables with umbrellas set up.. IF they were set-up in advance, I would've sat outdoors, being that it was a Sunny day.Overall, this establishment was clean, well-lit... Service was mediocre... Shrimp Burrito was delicious, fresh, and filling.I'd return if I visit Pt Pleasant again!

Hey, in 2023 the landlord put a new facade on the exterior and inside they added new back lit menu signs. You order and pay at the register where the register asks for a tip though there's a tip jar. Good clean food here. Salmon tacos are gone but the white fish tacos will do. Chips and salsa included about $6+. I drink tap water. Surf or Reggae music always playing for the kooks. At times the TV screens play surf videos. Old surfers in Hang Ten suits get props here. When all fueled up you can walk next door to the Brave New World surf shop and over pay for a gnarly pair of shades.Parking: Park in front lot or on side street

The food here is not good. Been twice and both times were really bad. I always try places twice before passing judgment. Many of the dishes are just covered in a handful of shredded lettuce or cold cheese. Pretty much the least artisanal version of tacos/Mexican fast casual possible. It's counter service which I like and they ask for a tip at checkout which is par for the course nowadays but annoying nonetheless. There is a salsa bar and plenty of parking. Small portions and prices are per taco (most of them are $6 or so). Skip this place.
