“Went for my husband’s birthday. Table got the mussels for appetizer. Fusilli arrabiata, chicken parm, and two seafood dishes- Risco con Pesce (shrimp and scallops is pesto cream sauce and rice) and Mare Misto (shrimp scallops and lobster tail in garlic sauce)- all were delicious! Family style salad and cheese and bread were served, too. Finished off the meal with lemoncello, tiramisu, and the tartufo. Also delicious. Definitely recommend- but make reservations!“

“Had a great time here with friends. Good food, fantastic service, and a nice table to chat away the night. Didn't get to take any pictures, but it's basically a pub style with plenty of tables right on the main street in Pompton Lakes. We hadn't been in this area for a LONG time. We went around the corner and there was St Mary's church where we got married 41 years ago last week!!!“

“I don't know how we figured my order out..but the lady at the front desk and my spanglish got the order in. I have never had better tacos bisteca in my life. And also the aguas Fresca?!???? To die for. I got the pineapple. She side eyed me a little when I said I wanted all this food but it's Ramadan and ya girl is hungry. I also ordered ahead and they were able to get my food ready at the time to break my fast. Now that is EXCELLENT customer service.“

“Just ordered food here for a lazy Monday night where I didn't feel like cooking myself. Food was delivered within 20 minutes, HOT, and good tasting. Especially with inflation, there is a decent amount of meat in each wanton & meat dish I ordered. I usually order from a different spot because it's closer, but will be ordering delivery from here moving forward!“

“Wife and I just bought our first Home and have been searching for the best Chinese food store with the best tasting food. Everything is properly seasoned food is always hot and the portions are great. Also other Chinese food in the area use a weird type of Rice which is disgusting but Golden Garden’s fried rice is to die for. The price is awesome for the quality of food we received. “I was just thinking about this place today....I use to go here religiously but that was when I lived closer.....This place is legendaryyyy. I'm talking about the Mexican Menu. That chimichanga, flauta, quesadilla combo meal they have is just too good. Their fajita mix is amazing. To be honest, not a single Mexican restaurant I found till this day offers a combination meal the way Tony's does. For those who are unaware the owners owned a Mexican restaurant down the street from Tony's. They closed it down to open up Tony's and offered the Mexican menu. The portions are big, atmosphere is good, prices are good, if you don't go here to try their Mexican food you will regret it...trust“

“Ok, so I know some people find the owner abrasive, but honestly I think she just has a low bs tolerance. She has always been kind, joking, and super efficient. Her and her employees have made us feel welcome since we moved to town, remembers my son's name, and is understanding of a toddler's spiciness.Here he is doing an epic mozzarella pull. “The food is absolutely amazing. It is authentic food. This is a hidden gem. Service was amazing. Any questions that I had were answered. The ambiance is amazing. The restaurant has so many things to look at from different Japanese figurines to books you can read while you eat. A definite place to go to when in the area. I am out here for work and would definitely be going back.“

We’ve had several birthday parties here throughout the years and we cater our Christmas Eve order from here every year (despite the fact that we moved 40 minutes away a few years ago, we still make the trip). Their food is top quality, in our opinion they have the best Italian food in the area, and their service is always incredible. We’ve gotten to know the owners of both Oakland and Pompton Lakes locations and they have always made sure our orders come out right as well as express their appreciation and concern.
