We have a great meal. These review are rough. If you are staying at the hotel, why not eat here. Ravioli and salmon were great.

Ate multiple meals here over my stay for a conference at the Marriott. The lunch's were good but the dinner was not worth the price. For lunchs, I had a quesadilla the first day and flatbread the second day. Both were good. The steak I had for dinner was overcooked. I ordered medium rare and it was served medium. The asparagus was very large stalks and maybe they were good but I personally prefer the thin stalks and find the texture of larger ones a little chewy.

We ate at Iron & Ivy b/c we were tired and we checked in later in the evening.. The service was great and menu selection was fine. My daughter ordered a $38 steak and I ordered the cob salad with blackened chicken. Presentation was nice however the food was precooked. I've had better airline food on several occasions. The steak looked fake as it had faint grill burns and looked like it was microwaved. My grilled chicken tasted as though it literally came out of the refrigerator. $70 later and not worth it at all.

Food was delicious! I enjoyed the crab cake appetizer and the primavera salad. Came out fresh and quickly. Ciana was great— very kind and attentive!

Great food and attentive service, being waited on by Venky , especially when he remembers your favorite drink and brings it out to you !

Will not return. Food was ok, but the service is the main reason for this rating. Not the expected experience or service for a Marriott.

Nice ambience and good menu. But not many customers on a Friday evening. I ordered green curry salmon. I was expecting a curry but got smelly grilled salmon that tasted like frozen entree re heated. Other than a sorry you didn't like it, I got no other response for why I got a grilled salmon instead of curry or why the salmon was so smelly. Totally not recommended!! Drinks choices were decent.

Hotel restaurants are usually culinary punching bags offering unimaginative cuisine to a captive audience at eye-popping prices. If that's your perspective than I'll feast on your prejudice at Iron and Ivy, an under the radar gem at the Forrestal Marriott in Princeton.A very low-key garden setting offers you a chance to converse using your inside voice while grazing through a menu running the gamut from burgers to a very tasty steak -- all while avoiding the restaurant scrum in downtown Princeton replete with time limits and credit card surcharges.Iron and Ivy is a nice change of pace and a secret that I have misgivings about revealing. A relaxing five stars.

Food was good. Service could have been faster. We ate breakfast (eggs, home fries, sausage) and lunch (cobb salad) there.

Food was good. Prices are fair. The restaurant was completely empty. Service was terrible. It was impossible to get their attention, and they didn’t check on my table even once

Nice quiet afternoon atmosphere to get some work done. Had the burger and truffle fries for lunch and it was wonderful!!!

Giving 1 star because it does not match the expectation from a Mariott restaurant and the price you pay for food.Extremely slow service, undercooked food, and no check in from servers even about water! If you sit at a table and not the bar, good luck.

Didn't feel like leaving the hotel so Iron and Ivy was my only choice for dinner! I was promptly greeted and seated in the restaurant by a bartender. A different person came to take my order, and another person brought my meal! There was a fellow in a jacket walking around the restaurant most of the time I was there. Despite the number of employees in the restaurant, service was inattentive. I seriously needed more ketchup, and never got it! When I was done eating, the fellow in the jacket finally walked to my table and asked if I needed anything! As for my hamburger, it was prepared from a frozen and unseasoned patty, served on a bun that was 2 or three days past being fresh! Fries were okay. While my overall dining experience was okay, the food and service provided are nothing to be proud of.

Very inattentive waiters and food that had absolutely no taste, For the $21/person buffet, very few varieties. Sad.
