One of the most GOATED places to eat near campus. Love the husband/wife team running this joint. The bibimbap and the kimchi here SLAP!

Very good food! The owners working are very nice and generous with portions. We did build our own bowls.

The people who work here are invariably super kind! The food is one of the best values in Princeton, and seems healthier than many options. It is a simple place, not fancy.

Wow! What a wonderful experience for the entire family. Had to share a review:We were looking for something all 3 generations of Korean Americans can eat. KBG was outstanding in both service and taste. I particularly appreciated the owner knowing his food really well. He knew ingredients of all this food and sauces and personally hand harvests his kale and makes his own kimchee. Delicious and a generous amount of food!

If you are craving for Korean bibimbap and do not wish to travel to Edison, Northern Jersey, or NYC, look no further than KBG in Princeton. This casual dine-in or take-out eater is here for you. Can't make it into order? You can order via Doordash for delivery. They are often thought of as Chipotle-style Korean BBQ. They have two locations. The first is in Princeton and the second is in Somerset. Unlike their KBG sister eatery in Somerset, they do not have a reward card system. Nor do they offer any discounts on various days. I was surprised they are so different in regards to their bowls being the sister eateries. I had gone to their Somerset location first. Upon entering, you will see a kiosk where you can place your order, or you can order with the cashier. You can ask them for suggestions as well. I recommend after looking at their trays of premade toppings, salads, and condiments, you can better decide how to create your own bowl or if it's too overwhelming, order one of the suggested favorites. Hubby and I ordered two bowls of Gangnam Style which has spicy pork, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, lettuce, white rice, and smoky sauce. The meat was juicy and flavorful. Their vegetables were crisp but their smoky sauce was disappointing. We had hoped their smoky sauce was spicier. It was just sriracha mayo. To quench your thirst, they offer many wonderful varieties of boba, as well as bottles of water. There are cups and a carafe of water free of charge, as well. What I enjoyed was that they offer healthier choices and are more conscious of the clientele who are more healthy into healthy habits. They trim the fat off the meats and offer white chicken meat because it is leaner. Prices here are of course higher due to being in the very heart of Princeton on Nassau Street. They have been open for 5 years and I know they will continue to be open for many more wonderful years. Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Cleanliness: 4/5Ambiance: 4/5Value: 4/5Location: 5/5

KBG Korean BBQ & Grill is a great addition to the Princeton food scene. The concept is simple: you order at the counter and then your food is made to order right in front of you. There are a variety of Korean dishes to choose from, including bibimbap, Korean tacos, and Korean burritos. Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are simply amazing. The prices are also very reasonable, making KBG a great option for a casual meal or a quick bite. The service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend KBG Korean BBQ & Grill to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Korean meal. Here are some specific things I liked about KBG:The food was delicious and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were made to order, so everything was cooked perfectly. The prices were very reasonable. I got a Gangnam Style Bowl bibimbap for $14.45, and it was more than enough food. It had jeyuk (Spicy pork), kimchi, pickled cucumbers, bean Sprouts, lettuce, white rice, topped with smoky sauce. Very tasty and filling. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and they made sure that my order was correct. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Even though this is precooked and fast food style bibimbap, it is still good. I enjoyed my spicy pork bibimbap.

I love this place it’s a place to visit if you are in Princeton . The bubble tea are the best in NJ. The food is sooo good. But what made us keep going was The owner and his wife. Sweet kind people. I would give them 20 stars if I could. The best kbg in NJ

KBG is a fast-casual Korean joint (think Korean Chipotle), but the proprietor of this particular KBG is exceptionally talented, and the execution of every item on the menu is world-class. The kimchi (made in-house) is the best in Princeton by far. The chicken is expertly cut to be exceptionally lean and marinated in a sweet soy sauce. The beef is fatty enough to be flavorful without being overly oily, as is the spicy pork. They also recently added wings and fried ttok / rice cakes to the menu, and the rice cakes are from a speciality ttok maker in Philadelphia. The food bursts with flavor but is very, very clean - it is apparently a mainstay of Princeton's many athletic teams. They also have boba. Simply amazing. I eat here at least once a week and will never tire of it.Vegetarian options: Most options are gluten freeDietary restrictions: There is a very strong tofu with sweet + thick soy sauce option

I am so happy I found this place! Absolutely delicious fast casual Korean food. I ordered a custom bowl with bulgogi beef, noodles, kimchi, kimchi cucumbers, pickled cucumbers, carrots, and a red sauce. The portion is very generous and filling. My friend got spicy pork and loved her bowl too. There were a few tables inside and the service was very quick. We ordered and paid on a kiosk and then pointed out our specific toppings. I already can't wait to go back.

It's a very hole in the wall kind of restaurant but with really good food! Especially the boba tea, I got strawberry flavor and it was just the right amount of sweet.

Walked in for the first time today. The environment was cozy and inviting. The owner , I believe is who took my order, was very friendly and warm with his greeting. He was cheerful and just so happy to be there. The food to top it off was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The bulgogi was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. I had the owner choose the sauces for my bowl which took the flavors over the top.A must try! And I will definitely go back again to treat myself.
