I love this little Cafe, with their made to order breakfasts and smoothies . Breakfast bowl is da bomb, in the best way possible.Wheelchair accessibility: It is just inside a fitness facility, with automatic doors.

Came in at 4:48 the other day and the place was closed. Hopefully they will change their hours of operations to reflect their new times. I will try it again for I really wanted that Apple Cranberry salad. It was good last time.

Honestly the best salads I’ve ever had-made fresh right in front of you! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants/cafés in Princeton and all of Mercer & Middlesex County

Excellent BLT with Avacado sandwich today. After doing 4 miles and lifting weights I earned it baby!

I really enjoyed my meal here. It was at a business dinner so I didn't take pictures but everything from the entree which was filet mignon, broccoli rabe and mash potatoes to dessert which was creme brûlée was presented beautifully and tasted exceptional. The creme brûlée was pleasantly paired with the cutest chocolate covered strawberry (which was also delicious). Alcohol isn't served at this location so remember to bring your own bottle. This restaurant is such a gem and I look forward to my next meal here.

Came to this restaurant on Mother's Day, and I'm a sucker for good Italian food. Boy, did Gennaro's deliver. Service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive; the food was delicious, all the way from the appetizers to the dessert. (I almost skipped writing about the dessert, limoncello gelato, because I was in a rush to write this review). A high recommendation on my part; and I will, without a shadow of a doubt, return.

My fiance and I were visiting the area and were looking into the restaurants nearby. We stumbled across Gennaro's and decided to give it a try. We went on a Tuesday evening around 6 and had the entire restaurant to ourselves (the dinber crowd started rolling in shortly after). Very great service from Douglas. He was super attentive and helpful! My fiance got the Penne Scarpariello and I got the Eggplant Fiorentina- both were delicious. For dessert, we had chocolate-hazelnut gelato and a cannoli. Both were generous portions (the cannoli was HUGE!) & came with a chocolate covered strawberry. The rosemary infused olive oil that they have on the table for dipping your fresh out of the oven rolls was DIVINE! Its BYOB (no liquor license) so make sure you bring a bottle or two of your favorite wine/prosecco! Gennaro came over and made sure we were enjoying our meal and service and he even sat with other guests and had conversations with them. You could tell this is a family restaurant and a neighborhood go-to. We have absolutely no complaints! I wish we lived nearby so we could go there more often :/

A great dining space with EXCELLENT food. Good for intimate dinners or dinners with a group. The staff is super accommodating and Gennaro is usually there to greet patrons which is a very nice touch. We go there often - not as crowded and noisy as other Princeton restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

Loved this place. Very classy and romantic atmosphere inside. Food was great, I got the filet Gorgonzola and my boyfriend got a shrimp linguini dish- both were excellent! Waiters are very attentive and even clear the crumbs between courses. They didn't rush us at all and the owner was walking around making sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommend!

Don't order the mussels and spaghetti! The mussel shells broke up all throughout the pasta and I couldn't take a bite without getting a piece of shell in my mouth. They were so tiny that it was impossible to separate. Very unpleasant meal. And when I mentioned it to the waiter, there was no apology. I won't be going back.

Wow! Incredible hidden little spot in Princeton. It's a small BYOB with GREAT good and service. We had a business meeting there last night and the food was served for us family style. Everything from the apps to dessert was amazing. Courses started with some bruschetta, mozz wrapped in proscuttio, mozz stuffed potatoes, eggplant rollitini, a cold fish app, and mozz cheese bread. After came two delicious salads: Caesar and I'm assuming their house salad; both excellent. Followed by short ribs (which were possibly the best I've ever had), pasta primavera with arugula, two types of potatoes, split lobster tails, and beautifully cooked med rare melt in your mouth steak. I'm literally drooling as I type. Dessert I had a chocolate covered tuxedo strawberry, very classy and always delicious. I cannot wait to return here. The place is small and limited, so you may want to make a reservation to make sure, but the food, service, and management were excellent. Solid Job Gennaro's!
