The staff was really nice, however the food was not worth $100. Got the pre-fix menu for $75 (apetizer, main, dessert), which seeo med good value as compared to the stand-alone prices for the steak. For the apetizer, I ordered a lobster bisque which was not edible (very salty and weird tasting), the main was good (lobster tail and 6 oz steak), and then I substituted the desert for a side dish of mushroom (for a $5 charge). When asked, I told the waiter that the lobster bisque was not very good, he kindly brought me a dessert even though I had replaced it for the side dish (which unfortunately, wasn't very good either). Overall i would say service was outstanding, however the quality of the food was well below average. Will not be returning.

Service was excellent and food was very good. Strip side of Porterhouse was a little too fatty but the filet side was tender and fabulous. We will definitely go again because I the perfect restaurant to celebrate a holiday or special occasion . Also, offering Mac and cheese without the lobster is smart and it was creamy and delicious

My wife and I eat at RC bc we love the food! Never bad! The flavor is always amazing! But for some crazy reason at the Princeton RC, the host staff are the worst! We come early to get a drink at the bar and always I ask if the hosts will come and get us for the reserved time. The answer is yes and the execution is no. I literally have to go and get THEM! It's craziness. Then they look exasperated that I'm coming to get them. Usually 15 minutes after the reserved time.
The service was subpar as the waiter waited entirely too long in between courses to check on us. The person clearing the table addressed the table by saying YO what's up which is beyond insulting. I will not be returning

Not my best experience at I high end steak house. The shrimp cocktail was excellent and the. lobster bisque was ok. Several of the steaks were overcooked. I expect more from this type of establishment.

My fiancee and I had dinner here last night for his birthday which was the first time for both of us and it was fantastic. Our server Bay was exceptional! Not only did he have knowledge about the food and the restaurant itself, his personality made our dining experience that much more enjoyable ? he should train all of the servers! Excellent dining experience ?
We had the most wonderful night celebrating our son’s 21st birthday! Our waiter Tommy was outstanding!! Tommy, thank you for being friendly, funny, attentive, and anticipating our every need. I work as the manager of a hotel so I appreciate excellent service and this experience was five star.

Great food and waiter. Wished they had a round table so we could enjoy conversation with everyone at the table. Since we had a large party that was not possible with a rectangular table.

Not a good experience, from the serving of cold bread to start (they did bring us warm bread when we requested it) to the refusal of splitting the chop salad for us (as has been for us numerous times before), to the very soupy mac and cheese side, topped off by the much chewier/less tasty steaks we were served, not at all like we have had in the past. On top of which when its 45 degrees outside we shouldn't have to wear winter coats inside. The heat should have been on. We did speak to the manager and eventually the heat did come on briefly. It will be quite a while before we return. An expensive not enjoyable meal.

Sadly, this establishment ruined my husband's 50th birthday celebration. We made an early dinner reservation to avoid peak times, and despite the restaurant not being very busy, after sitting almost 2 hours, we never received our meal although other tables arriving much later than us received their orders. Two hours into the evening, we'd only been served our drinks, the complimentary bread, and a starter salad. Not once did the servers or management check on our table or offer an apology until we spoke up enquiring about our food when we saw other tables around us being served. Very disappointing and frustrating experience, particularly since we have a young child who hadn't received their dinner.

I ordered a petite filet mignon medium well it was very good and for dessert. I had a creme brulee which was amazing. Our server was attentive and nice and I will definitely be going back
