Parking: One of few places in the area that offers free parking! If you pull in the little driveway to the left of the building- drive around to the right side- it's a little lot where there is always parking available.

The place isn’t cheap. $40 for one person. Presentation and food was solid.Service was okay, quite attentive. But owner seemed slightly annoyed with my menu indecision.Public wifi would be nice.

Truly a hidden gem! The food at Soonja’s tastes great and really remind me of a home cooked meal. Everything on the menu tastes good, especially the Mandugook with the oxtail broth. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing and peaceful, and I enjoy looking at all the art pieces on the walls.

Extremely rude. The place is listed on google maps that its open until 2:30pm for lunch. Placed an order online at 2:05 and I get a call at 2:20 telling that I am taking too much time to pick up. I was told that he will leave the food outside and I can pick whenever I want to. Very unacceptable and rude behavior.

Came on a week night and stepped into a homey atmosphere. Service was fast, friendly and well seasoned. We ordered the yukaejang, which was just spicy enough and helped clear out a cold coming down. The mandugook was healing and healthy, not too salty. And the beef kbbq came in a stone pot and piping hot. There is a parking lot which is nice and convenient since it is on a busier road.

Recently visited there. The main dish (shrimp soondubu) was okay. It’s nothing special and I would rate it’s sub par in Korean standards. There was no side dish, not even kimchi. When I asked for side dishes, her response was “we don’t serve side dishes,” I’ve never been to any Korean restaurant without kimchi served. Also their service was terrible. The female owner was rude, and not friendly when I interacted with her. My spoon was dirty (sticky stuff was the spoon). When I asked her for replacement, she didn’t even apologize. It was a shame that this is the only Korean restaurant near Princeton university. I would not recommend to anyone who want to enjoy good Korean food.

Creditable Korean food. Nothing amazing, but definitely good. Have not jacked up their prices recently like many places.

This is probably the worst Korean restaurant I have been to in a long time. The 3 photocopy sheets of paper stapled together that they call a menu pretty much sums up the effort they take to make a decent restaurant, food quality and taste is

The Korean dishes were quite good that the whole party licked the plates clean, figuratively speaking. The owners were nice and friendly, and they've been running the joint for 28 years now!

Went to Soonja's for dinner tonight. Ordered bibimbap, pork/Kimchee bowl, and bulgogi bowl. All came out on hot sizzling stone bowl. Everything was delicious!! Really hit the spot. Their seaweed salad mixed with green leaf salad was extremely fresh and dressing was perfect accompaniment. Will definitely come back for the food and friendly staff/owner.

A nice hidden gem for korean comfort food! Service was great and the owner's were very welcoming. Language barrier should not be confused as 'rudeness' as some people have.

I got the Yukaejang and it tasted incredible. I cleaned the whole bowl. The chef is really nice also. This kind of food would be incredible when it snows.

The food is always excellent. I rotate between the beef bulgogi, beef bibimbap, and yakisoba. I always start with pork dumplings and spring rolls and I really like the dumpling soup. The service is quick but I never feel rushed. The prices considering the area are very reasonable as typical restaurants in Princeton are very pricey. Also having a free lot is a major bonus as free parking in Princeton is very rare. The takeout is good but I would recommend eating in as the food is even better being even more fresh. Although the owner can seem dismissive, once you become a regular and see her more she is actually very nice! All in all this is one of my favorite restaurants in Princeton.

It's a restaurant where I don't want to waste any stars. The worst restaurant in my life, there are no side dishes. It is very unkind service and food. I'm never going to come to a restaurant like this again. ?
