Our server Norbert was pleasant and professional, suggesting the best of what the restaurant offers (which is everything including the bread basket and condiments.) Everything we ordered was amazing: the fried calamari morsels were fresh and tender in a delicious, light batter. Clams on the half shell were so fresh and succulent! The meatballs, eggplant parm, chicken parm and chicken francese were entrees that were big on both taste and portion size. “This was our first time trying Pollo Campero in the U.S. and was really blown away on how delicious it taste like back home in Guatemala.The Yuca fries are to die for. They are soft, moist, and crispy on the outside.The chicken was delicious and juicy.Our order came out as expected. The chicken was extra fresh out the oil.The staff here were very welcoming and helpful.The restaurant is clean, especially the two bathrooms (you will need a code from the cashier to unlock the bathroom doors), and quiet.This is located in a busy area but there is parking at the back of the restaurant!I highly recommend stopping here to grab some fresh chicken to eat!“
“So i just ordered my first meal from this place , i was a little nervous because of all the bad reviews they seem to have but i was pleasantly surprised ! I ordered chicken tenders for my child , chicken was cooked well moist and seasoned great . I myself had a jersey burger which was immaculate i will say the bread was soggy but i personally dont mind that as i like a good juicy burger so i expect my buns to be soggy . (Also im hung over and this burger really hit the spot lol). My partner order an lone star burger which he was raving about . Their fries with honey mustard sauce is a match made in heaven to your taste buds . I am a food reviewer and typically try alot of places and later leave my notes . I wanted to make sure to make a review on this place as i think most of their bad reviews are unfair and biased of personal preferences . “This chicken is absurdly good. As a latino, it strikes a great balance between home-cooked taste, but with the consistency of a fast food chain. It's EXPENSIVE. Only go there to treat yourself or if your wallet allows. In general, the bowl is the best value. The price of 2 pieces and a side is robbery, but damn it's good. Empanadas are better than most but not as authentic. Chicken is great, and the sweet plantains are legit. When dining in, I feel you get the best experience with their real plates and diner/restaurant-style service.“
“I finally was able to stop by and checkout this chicken spot on 22…The food was good sauces mix well with the chicken and fries…However the service was top tier! One of the workers by the name of Destin helped me along the way I forgot the sauces he recommended but I mixed them up and it turned out to be the perfect blend I was looking for. So any first timers I highly recommend to ask for Destin clearly his palate is there! Inside the restaurant made me laidback I guess because of the wall art…I’ll definitely will be returning soon.“

I was overwhelmed becsuse there were like 10 things i could have ordered. Fried chicken and wings is what i hear everyone ordering. I had chicken and rice with salad. “I can't say much that hasn't already been said before. The food is excellent, crispy and hot and delicious. I am particularly fond of the Soy Garlic and Galbi boneless thighs which are melt-in-your-mouth exquisite. Onion rings are "okay", nothing special but still tasty. The fried dumplings are excellent and can be a meal by itself.The one sincere complaint I do have, and the reason for the low "service" rating and the missing fifth star overall, is this: They don't label their food. I often order as part of a group (lunch at work) so we'll order several different varieties, and every time we have to spend several minutes figuring out whose chicken is whose. Sure, some of them are obvious but a lot of them are not; I challenge anyone to discern between Secret Spicy, Hot Spicy, and Spicy Galbi based on sight and smell alone. To me, this just reeks of laziness on behalf of the restaurant. Literally all they need to do is keep a permanent marker next to the packing station and write the contents on each box. If every other restaurant can do this, why can't they? Once they start marking the boxes with the contents I'll happily bump this to five stars, but until then.....“
