Valentines Day i made a reservation ahead of time for my lady and i and we were not disappointed. Brought a few bottles of her favorite wine ? to enjoy with the Great steaks and appetizers. Staff very attentive and ambiance of the Bistro is great for a date!

Our experience was great from beginning to end. We had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait. The hostess and servers were ALL great! They were friendly and attentive. I asked one of the servers, that wasn’t our server, if she could take a pic of us and she immediately agreed. They were all so nice and accommodating. The food was VERY YUMMY! The music was on point, old school salsa and classics ? can’t go wrong with that! Great ambiance too! I would def go back! Oh I almost forgot, it’s a BYOB ??????

Wanted to love it given the good reviews but this place left a lot to be desired. Service was extremely poor. Not sure if they were short staffed but we were sitting for 30+ minutes before we were even acknowledged, no water, nothing. The waiter apologized and said he completely forgot about our table although he & the other waiter passed by us many times. This continued for the entire night. He offered stale chips on the house. We ended up having to ask what other beverages they had besides water because on top of them finally noticing they didn’t provide water they still didn’t come around to us with the water! Had to ask severalllllllll times. Tamarindo wings were not good. They tasted like frozen BJ’s/Costco wings with some sauce on top. We sent them all back and they didn’t even bother asking if something was wrong. They didn’t ask if anything was good or if we were ok the entire night either. The shrimp in garlic sauce appetizer was tasty and a good portion. We got our food more than an hour later. 3 of us got the skirt steak and it was alright, it could have had more flavor and less charred/grill burnt same with filet mignon. Flan was good. The menu was basically only meat options & limited which was ok for us cause we only came cause of the good reviews about the skirt steak which ended up not being great but for others who don’t want only steak, this place isn’t for you. We sat under one of the TV’s that plays music for the entire restaurant so we had to shout a bit to communicate. Had to ask them to turn it down cause we couldn’t even hear the waiter at one point. The place itself is remodeled nicely. The portion sizes were great though, that was definitely the only thing that really stood out and why I’m giving 3 stars. Just wish the entire experience was better.

Stopped in b/c the atmosphere looked inviting from the outside (and inside). We ended up ordering a tomahawk steak ($100 plus dollars). It was burned on the bottom and dried out. We brought it home...for the dog.

I REALLY wanted to like this place as I waited forever for them to reopen after the hurricane. I was really disappointed. It looks really nice inside. Spanish music playing. The prices are severely overinflated. For starters, we got the tamarind wings, which were great, and the tempura shrimp. They were not tempura, but rather some basic frozen fried shrimp - horrible. I got the skirt steak which came out cooked perfectly. This was well worth the price of $28. Presentation is on a piece of wood but it's not wood - interesting. My dining companion got the rib eye for $48 and what came out was a $10 steak from Shoprite; they should be ashamed of themselves charging $48 for that pitiful thing! It wasn't even thick. Overall we spent $110 on two apps and two entrees. They also have no liquor license. They really need to get their prices in check or they won't be open very long. Also the chimichurri that came with the steak was made when olives.. since when is chimichurri made with olives? Gross. I will not be back.

Great little steakhouse. My family and I went New Years Day. We had two appetizers the hummus and the chorizo. The chorizo was the best we’ve ever had. Dinner we ordered the rib eye, 16 oz filet mignon, and skirt steak. All cooked perfectly to our liking. Our sides were maduros and yuca. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious not one complaint. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to enjoy some great food.

My family went to an impromptu dinner for New Years Day. Walking in this bistro was decorated so nice and was very clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They first send out chips( with their special seasoning) and salsa. We shared two appetizers the hummus with plantain chips and mixed chips. It was delicious. We also had the chorizo, it was the best chorizo we've had absolutely delicious. Our main courses were, the 16oz filet mignon, the rib eye and the skirt steak. All were cooked perfectly to our liking. Sides we had, maduros, and yuca equally as good. We had a great experience and will definitely be back. Another plus it's a byob.

I was at Mi Casa Latin Bistro And all I can say is this place is amazing ! The food was great and the service was always on point. I would highly recommend this restaurant, nice place to be with friends or your special one.

Nice decor. No menus were apparently available. We went at 530pm on a Saturday. Waiter didn't seem to want to be there. He told us what food was available. Kinda weird that they had zero chicken dishes. Plus we were never informed about the prices of the food.We ordered the Cheese empanadas appetizer which was good with good presentation. Unfortunately the steaks were ordered were dry and didn't seem to be good quality. One was cooked medium and one was medium well. They seemed to be steak purchased from shop rite. Plus they charged 48 dollars for a small ribeye. Makes zero sense. We heard mixed reviews about this place so wanted to give it a try since we are locals. The chef seems to definitely know what he's doing but the quality of food seems to be lacking, especially at the price range they are charging. We won't be back. There are better spots in the area.

Great food, sides are LARGE, BEST skirt steak I've ever tasted. Went with the family and they were very accommodating. Waitress was very attentive and welcoming. The entire menu is not available every day so I suggest you call and ask before craving something and being disappointed. But everything was DELICIOUS regardless.
