I'm a big fan of local old school corner bars and this is one. We had a group of four on a Friday evening, I recommend reservations! Place is not big, bar has about 20 seats, there are about 10 tables (mostly 2 and 4 seaters). We had meatballs, rice ball's, and two large plain pies. All was great. Pizza is definitely thin crust. If you go with a good appetite you can comfortably finish one pie yourself. If I were to give Nancy's any dings it would be the beer selection. In and outside sends the message of old school, but the taps are mostly craft, with pizza I like an old fashion pilsner. Personal preference. I will definitely be back.Parking: Pay parking garage right across the street.

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about this pizza place – it's a haven for thin crust enthusiasts! Without a doubt, it reigns supreme as the top thin pizza spot in the entire state of New Jersey. The thinness of the crust combined with its irresistible flavor is so captivating that it's not uncommon for one person to polish off an entire pie effortlessly. What sets this place apart is the exceptional service, particularly from the accommodating bartender who engages in friendly conversation, making newcomers feel right at home. Trust her recommendations; they're guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more, perhaps even prompting you to take some leftovers home. Conveniently situated in the heart of Rahway, with the train station just a brief 5-minute stroll away, accessibility is a breeze. Plus, for those indulging a bit too much, there's a nearby hotel for a comfortable night's stay. Parking is stress-free here – no need to worry about fees as there's ample parking available in the back lot. And even on busy days when street parking is scarce, there's a secure, budget-friendly garage just across the street, ensuring a silver lining to every situation. Need space for a gathering? Simply inquire about their upstairs area, complete with customizable pricing. In summary, this pizza joint offers not just incredible food, but a seamless experience from start to finish, making it a must-visit destination for pizza aficionados and party planners alike.Parking: A lot of parking options to fit every occasion or traffic.

This place has the best bar pie I’ve ever had in my life.. it is right up there with some of the best pizza you can find in New Haven, NYC, and other parts of NJ.. I got the Hot Roni one and it was WOW.. no frills.. just a local spot with absolute elite bar pie.. 10/10 need to go back

One of my favorite spots in the area for a bar pie. Old school type atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Their bar pie is up there with some of the best I’ve had.

The appetizers and pizza were wonderful. We made a reservation, which was a good idea because the place is very popular. While we were there, it was mostly families, many with young children, but the service meant the kids were fed quickly and were very happy. I imagine that later it will be an adult crowd and probably noisy in the way a good bar should be.Parking: We got street parking at a meter. There was a garage that we didn't useKid-friendliness: Definitely food for kids. Families clearly are regulars.

Been going to Nancy’s for a couple years now and they never disappoint!! Today I had the chicken parm which was amazing as always and we also ordered a grandma pie and another pizza with multiple toppings. The pizza is just incredible but everyone should know that by now!! But what really made our night was our server Sophia! She is quick witted, funny, (had us laughing within 30 seconds of approaching our table) friendly, attentive, very pleasant and caring!! In addition to being a great server, she gave our son (who is a college freshman) advice on finishing school. She is the type of person I’d hire immediately if I owned my own business. Nancy’s Townhouse is lucky to have her. She has a very successful future ahead of her!

Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. Even though the entrance is on street level, you must walk down a flight of stairs to the restaurant.

I’ve been to Nancy’s a few times now, and each visit it’s even better than I remember it. Nancy’s is comfortable and cozy - think family Italian restaurant (complete with classic red and white checkered table cloths) in a basement pub setting. The bar is long and frequently buzzing with local regulars. The service is always prompt and friendly, simple but efficient. I’ve had a few appetizers over the visits: wings, house salad, ravioli - all very good, but the star of the show here is undoubtedly their pizzas. It’s unlike any other pizza in the area. Incredibly thin with a crunchy crust and zero droop, even heavily loaded with toppings. Many places make thin pizza, but Nancy’s just hits differently. I’m hard pressed to name a pizza place I like better, and not many family pizza joints have a full bar. Nancy’s is firmly in our restaurant rotation.

Was there tonight, party of 2, busy night. The server advised it would be a long wait for a table, and bar was first come first serve. We opted to hang and wait for a seat at the bar to eat. After 20 minutes, saw a couple at the end of the bar leaving. They advised they were waiting for the check and we can grab the seats when they leave. After 10 minutes of waiting, they left, we sat down. The bartender came up to us and advised that she had other people waiting for the bar seats before us. The entire time we were standing waiting for the couple to leave, no one approached us that appeared to be waiting. Most of the bar had seats and we eyed those specific seats and waited patiently, I told her I thought it was first come first serve, she said very rudely well I have people waiting. We opted to just leave as it was not good business to do that. Had another couple approached us and said something while we were waiting, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Just wouldn’t give my business to a place that does that. I’m also pregnant and disabled not that that really matters. as we were leaving, we told a couple that had been waiting what happened and they left too. Sad a place with such good pizza lost 4 customers to reckless service.
