There isn't a darn thing that I don't love about this place! The ambience, the drinks, the food... All a 10 out of 10. Added to the fact that there's no other indie place like it closer than Hoboken, makes The Irving THE place. We're from Boston, MA with family in Woodbridge, NJ and visit 3-4 times a year. No visit is complete for us without at least one trip to The Irving.

Best bartenders ever Food is unique and delicious you can tell it's made with different ingredients and easy parking in parking deck .

Great place!! Love the outdoor seating ambiance and it has its own outdoor bar. Service is amazing. Our signature drinks were perfectly executed. They have a great menu. We ordered spicy garlic shrimp and ricotta meatballs. Bonus was it came with fresh hot garlic bread. For dinner we spilt the delicious pork Ragú. We will definitely come back to try some other items.

Been trying to venture out (outside of the ten min perimeter I usually keep) and it brought me to Irving inn social. Octopus was impeccable. Spicy shrimp were legit. Nice patio to hang in the back for cocktails and food. Fresh hand cut fries. Can't wait to go back.

Got an awesome table on the patio and the service was fantastic. I had wine, my boyfriend had a delicious cocktail. The charcuterie board was amazing and the wings we ordered were good too.

Their soft pretzels are soooo good. Also it's a cool space. They have really high chalkboards mounted with the beer list. Makes me wonder how they get up there.

Visited friends in Rahway over the weekend. There's was music and dancing in the streets for the Juneteenth weekend. After working up an appetite we decided to get something to eat at The Irving Inn Social. Divided into 3 sections; bar area, dinning area, and outside. We were seated in the dinning area where we started with the Crab Fries. Afterwards we ordered 2 of the Irving Dry Aged Burger, Blue Crab Ravioli, Lobster Tacos. Unfortunately the crab meat didn't add much to the fries. The lobster taco was disappointing as you could taste the pineapple watermelon salsa over the lobster. Which means the portion of lobster was small. The burger was excellent, ask for the Gouda on the side and taste the burger and appreciate the flavor. Drinks were wonderful. Old fashion comes with lychee as a garnish.

Really cool vibe and great bartenders. Sriracha wings were good as was the old fashioned. Patio was great in the evening but inside decor was nice too. Pretzel was really good too. Also had a good scotch and bourbon selection. Definitely recommend.

I came back to The Irving Social Inn after not having been here for several years. The indoor vibe is cute, we ate outside on the back patio and the bar set up and seating is lovely. We started with the crab fries were sounded better on the menu than in reality. The fries were pretty dry and there wasn't enough crab to cover all of the fries, but the crab and garnish that was on it was good. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It was stacked with a double cutlet (cut in half, stacked) my jaw would never be flexible enough to fit it in my mouth; so I took half the cutlet out to make it bitable. Nonetheless it was also tasty. We started with cocktails which were super reasonably price and also good. I think it's a solid choice and would go back!

Visiting the Performing Arts center I located this restaurant and liked the reviews. I had high hopes for this place but it was a noooo gooooo. When we arrived there was a 20 minute wait. We wanted first available (inside or outside) while we waited we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. None of the drinks were good. They were pretty but very weak and not flavorful. I wanted to add grenadine but they didn't have any. We waited out our time and was seated outside. I ordered the social dry aged burger. I didn't want fries and asked for an alternative like veggies but they didn't have any so I got potatoes. Also ordered was the sriracha wings, lobster tacos, shrimp and asparagus pasta, and the Irving dry aged burger. I feel like we waited Wayyyy to long for our food. I was scared the food wouldn't come in time for us to leave for our show. We waited so long it started to get windy and cool outside. A friend ordered a Long Island iced tea. It was a big miss. Not good at all. Food finally comes out and we immediately ask for the bill because we are pressed for time. The food. Omg as delicious as it looked this was the blandest food I EVER tasted. The sriracha wings was the absolute worse. All you taste is heat. How does that happen. The shrimp and lobster pasta was noodles with sauce and shrimp. Absolutely no flavoring at all. My friend said the lobster tacos were good. The burgers were pretty good but lacked on flavor as well. Between the wait for a table, the wait for our food, the horrible drinks, the horrible food, no substitute sides, all I can do is give one star for the service. I will NOT be returning.

I wish this place was closer to me because it is so so good! I came here for dinner eith a group of friends right before closing and they were great about it. The server was also the bartender and she recommended one of her own creations- Killing Me Softly. Omg 5/5- i highly recommend this. It's probably one of the best drinks I've had. The mezcal adds the perfect amount of smokiness without overpowering the other flavors. The savory notes of thyme and tajin counted the sweet fruit. Everyone else seemed happy with their drinks too. We ordered a bunch of food to share and I'd say the sizes of the dishes were good to share. Crab fries -4/5. They were good but not great. I probably wouldn't get them again unless I was really craving crab. Beet buratta toast -4/5 refreshing and cant really go wrong with buratta Ricotta meatballs - 5/5 delicious, melt in your mouth. Marinara is great too. Roasted cauliflower-5/5 perfectly crisp & beautifully presented Wings-5/5 we had both the chipotle bbq & honey sriracha. Both were excellent but be warned the chipotle bbq is hotttt.

I was trying to figure out if I liked the food, atmosphere, or staff better but I cant. They're all amazing. This is a place you can enjoy a craft beer and burger with friends. But the next time sit down with a date and enjoy a bottle of wine. For the time I lived in Rahway I was there once or more a week and it never disappointed. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Rahway

Great drinks and delicious food. It's on a busy street so I just used the parking deck around the corner. So glad I took the drive here. I was following them on Instagram and my mouth would water seeing them pics. They did not disappoint!
