Went on a Friday night with a group of four. Place was full, but enough room to find a seat. Good beer selection. I recommend a try. Parking garage directly across the street.

Solid microbrew in Rahway... enjoyed dry Irish Stout and their mind haze IPA which was a NE in the dryer side...

I went to a Craft Beer Festival this weekend in JC. I tried beer from numerous local breweries and my pick for the night was the Wet Ticket Brewery in Rahway NJ. Their Hop Dyed IPA was outstanding! Cold and fresh and really refreshing to drink. After a good meal there is nothing like a great beer, and lately a good IPA has become my favorite. I enjoy trying different beers and finding that special one that appeases my tastes buds for the rest of the night. The beer festivals are a great place to do that. If you're interested in trying one go to Eventbrite.com to find one in your area.

Both their standard and seasonal drafts are consistent and delicious. Wet Ticket has something for everyone - IPAs, Stouts, watermelon and mango beers, new flavored seltzer etc. This is usually my first stop before going out to eat with friends. You can also bring in food or have it delivered to the brewery which is a great alternative.

It seems like Downtown Rahway is becoming a nice destination for food and drink after having lunch with my colleague two doors down at Nancy’s Townhouse. We learned about this nearby establishment from our server, and some of us tried out their watermelon beer made with real watermelon, which was ridiculously good. Named for the individuals who ran for office during the 1930s with the intent to repeal prohibition, Wet Ticket Brewing is a small local microbrewery on Main Street, where we were welcomed by the owner and head brewer, Tim, who invited us in even though it wasn’t open to the public until 4 p.m. The atmosphere is open and friendly. Big windows make the place feel welcoming. Patrons find themselves at the counter, reading a large chalkboard of the various alcoholic concoctions available, posted high above the heads of the servers. The list includes the poetic Spanktown, Grapefruit, Kick-the-Bucket Brown, Watermelon Wheat, and Kolsch. One can even buy a "growler," or jug, to take home. You can also bring in food or have it delivered to the brewery, which is a great alternative. Rumor has it that a mandatory tour through the back room with the fermenter tank where the beer is made before returning to the tap room for samples needs to be made on the next visit.

It was good beer, but the bar tender told my friend it was "too much" to buy a flight of beer, for no reason. Someone ordered a flight before him and two people ordered a flight after him, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't sell a flight to my friend but they were willing to sell all of my group multiple beers. I'm just not sure how I feel about this brewery afterwards. It was my first time there and maybe my last.

Great experience, had a flight of beers and found it difficult to decide which I liked the most. Will absolutely go again.
