Too hot.Pastries don't look and feel fresh. Coffee flavor was good, but they killed it with extra hot milk. Thats a basic barista knowledge, which can't be overlooked. Ambiance is great but the coffee experience goes first.

My brother, boyfriend, and I ran over here quickly (after visiting this location and the Ridgewood location plenty of times) before we had to catch a train. My brother ordered a flat white and paid with a card. He tapped the small square card reader and was not presented with the screen for a chance to tip, or a choice for a printed or text receipt, as some coffee places do. I then ordered two scones and did the same--tapped my card and that was that. I wasn't given a receipt, nor was I given the choice to have one. I did not think anything of it, but perhaps I should have. Maybe a week or so later, my brother calls me to tell me he was looking over his bank statement and was charged SEVEN. TEEN. DOLLARS. $17!!!!!!! for a FLAT WHITE!!!!! I was baffled and decided to check my statement and I was charged almost $15 for two scones. I could almost excuse that...maybe it's some artisanal bullsh*t but by NO STRETCH of the imagination can I justify why a FLAT WHITE (it's literally like a 5-6 oz drink) would cost $17. Now as I said, he was NOT presented with the chance to tip, so it can't be chalked up to fat fingers on the screen accidentally typing in too large of a number. He also was not given a receipt--duh! They didn't want him to know that they were ACTUALLY stealing from him. and probably from me too. I cannot say how DISGUSTED I am with this business, literally stealing money from unsuspecting customers. Oh and upon further inspection, I came across MULTIPLE reviews saying the same or similar things happened to them. I should report this sh*thole to the BBB.

The owners will tell you their coffees are about 90% organic and their baked goods are ALL ORGANIC. You will taste that too.Gluten intolerance? Bulldog has a large variety of gluten free baked goods, and all are amazing with a hot coffee. The espresso is excellent too.They'll also make some things to order, so if you need something exceptional for a party, like a 10 layer Italian cheese cake or some other dream dessert, you can ask them.Their barista's are highly experienced, attentive, friendly and in general sharp folks. The store is cool with antiques and unique old items and they have some outdoor seating. This establishment just adds to the whole Ramsey ambiance, don't pass it up!

I have gluten intolerance and thankfully Bulldog has a variety of gluten free baked goods, all are amazing especially with a hot coffee. Their espresso is excellent too. They'll make some things to order, so if you need an exceptional 'something' for a party, like a 10 layer Italian cheese cake, you can ask them. Their barista's are very experienced and friendly but they're sharp and attentive too. The store is cool with antiques and some unique items and they have outdoor seating with 3 or 4 tables. Glad we have this establishment close by in my hometown of Ramsey.

This place has become my new favorite coffee shop.Get the iced Matcha Latte. Delicious. The vegan chocolate chip cookie is also amazing. You can tell how much work and dedication goes into all the baked goods.Everything is made with all natural and healthy ingredients here. I always look forward to coming here :) 10/10

I thought it was odd when the little girl behind the counter didn’t show me the screen to complete my transaction.I ordered a medium latte and 2 choc chip cookies for a total of $14. Little did the girl know I paid with a work card that tells me the amount of my transaction which came to $17 and some change.This place only gets two stars because the cookies were solid. One for each :)

I'm new to the area and it was our first time trying this shop. Coming from Hoboken, we're used to great local coffee shops and were hoping this would help fill the void. Big nope. The only way to describe the pumpkin latte is that it tastes like dirt? Maybe their espresso beans are spoiled, or the pumpkin syrup is? Not sure. Immediately dumped it out. Husband got their regular drip coffee and it is basically just brown water. I NEVER write yelp reviews, and wouldn't have if I could have gotten through to their shop to tell them that something is wrong/spoiled (but naturally their phone number is not in service), but a small latte, large coffee and a small blueberry muffin cost $15 so I figured I'd save other people the trouble. I guess just go to Starbucks until a good coffee shop owned by people who actually like coffee comes to the area.
