Came to Bar Boutique this afternoon for early snacks and drinks around 4pm. Drinks were amazing - the Oaxacan Bonfire was incredible if you like mezcal! Fred was our bartender and extremely personable and welcoming - will definitely be going back.

Save your money and Time just go to Varka, the staff is rude and prices are too high, I never mind paying for good food and service but $31.79 for an old fashion and plus $6 tip.....and then they took it before I was finished and argued with me saying they didn't take it? 1 I live half a year in Ramsey and half a year in Florida the father/owner lets his son run it and he is rude.

Fun place, there was a good cross section of people (of drinking age). The bar staff is friendly and fun. Not cheap, but reasonable for mixed drinks.

A father and son. Saturday night. Two Old Fashioneds and two Manhattans. Base price per, $19. Call a particular brand, possible up charge. Total bill with tip, $97. Four drinks. To be fair, the place is beautiful, classy; the female bartender who served us was excellent - professional, knowledgeable, appropriately friendly, and prompt. My only beef is that this is Ramsey, NJ, not SoHo, and the prices are just too high. It is the place I would love to hang at, but could not afford to do so in good conscience. 5 for ambience and service, 1 for value, resulting in a 3 star review.

Beautiful atmosphere. Service was great, litebites menu that comes out promptly. Cocktails were well worth it. Tables are a little snug but other than that it was a great experience that we'll be revisiting.

Presentation of the food wasn't as nice as last year but some was tasty, especially tuna tartare and chicken tacos (great flavors). don't get the hummus and veggies. espresso martini was tasty! 2 of us ordered 4 appetizers, and with the VERY small table, we didn't want them brought out at once. They brought them all out and it was very challenging to fit them, plus our drinks/plates comfortably. For the high amount we paid, that was not a quality experience. Crab cake was small for the price compared to last year. Not sure we will go back, even though the staff was nice and it is a pretty place. Higher prices not worth the experience.
Great local place for a night out with your partner or friends, they cultivate a fun vibe. The specialty cocktails are well balanced and beautiful, and it looks like beer and wine drinkers have a plentiful selection too. The food is delicious though they are SMALL plates so just note that this is not a full-meal type of restaurant, it's a cocktail beer wine lounge -- and it's perfect at being that!

We had a great night out- really enjoyed the ambience as well as the food and drinks. However we ordered a bottle of wine and were told there was a $25 corking fee for the bottle. I have never heard of a wine bar charging a corking fee for their own wine!!
Ambiance was decor very good, the seating was tight. Drinks were well crafted. The food was fine portions small for the pricing but taste and presentation well done. Service was excellent very attentive. Anole parking for Friday night and we were lucky to get a reservation at 6pm for 6:30pm - the place was otherwise full. Will go back for special occasions or for a drink at the bar. We were only 2 not sure they can provide for larger parties- its an intimate cozy atmosphere, with modern, clean decor- aesthetically, appealing,

This is a chic little bar in Ramsey. They serve a fine cocktail but at NYC prices. I am a fan of a fancy craft cocktail, but I do think $19 per drink is steep price. I enjoyed my cocktails and the fantastic ambiance. The mezcal cocktail was great! Our family had a great time hanging out there. We had a table reservation, but you could choose to sit at the bar if you want. The menu offers some food that looked good but we were just there for drinks. I would come back to try the bites.
