We had our baby shower at Cafe Penache and are beyond happy with absolutely everything! The food was fantastic, as always :). Service beyond thoughtful and helpful! And the owner accommodated us with everything possible - setup, liquor delivery, ideas and suggestions. We are coming back for more celebrations!

My wife and I had an early dinner on a Saturday night recentlyWe both enjoyed our dinner very much . I had the crispy duck which is the best i ever had and the portions were fine.We both found the staff unwelcoming , particularly when we declined dessert.

Service was terrible we didn’t order appetizers or desserts because of that our server looked obvious annoyed for one, he never checked on us or refilled our drinks. Food out of the five of us 3 had no flavor and it looked like they just plopped it on our plates. For the prices they charge and reputation it had it was very disappointing.Kid-friendliness: None what so ever

Was so looking forward to a special meal with friends here only to be disappointed. Service was subpar and food was also not At a caliber to be expected from the profile this restaurant sets itself up to be. Definitely will not recommend or return

My boyfriend took me there for a Valentine's Day dinner and this is how it want ... The food : The food is absolutely phenomenal , ordered the clams and mussel's appetizer and it was simply Ama zing with marinara sauce , they also serve fresh warm bread with it , you can honestly eat 10pieces of bread .. For main course we had the crispy duck and that was served with black rice , one of the best ducks I ever had . Dessert was Creme Brûlée and it was very good , perfect consistency. Decor is welcoming and beautiful !! The bathroom is extremely clean . The hostess is not really that friendly and in all honesty I felt a little rushed , that is not really something I like to do specially if I'm on a date . The other down side it that BYOB , they should have a liquor license . Tables are extremely close together so you can basically hear the entire conversation going on next to you either you like it or not . I would also had preferred to sit by him and not across from him , that takes away from the romance. The food makes it worth going but they could work on some of the improvements I mentioned .

**Excellent** Sit in the front room (with windows) for the best and coziest atmosphere. We loved the tuna tartare and signature filet mignon ravioli for apps. Short ribs, salmon and snapper special were all equally delicious. Javier was a super attentive waiter but the epitome of "quiet luxury" - we will be back!

Our first dinner there for date night. Beautiful and elegant atmosphere. Servers were extremely respectful and attentive. My husband ordered the duck, which he really liked. I ordered the short ribs, which although they were good, I would not order again as the sauce was too strong for my taste. We had the warm apple tart for dessert. Delicious! Definitely worth another visit.

Panache is a word of French origin that has the connotation of flamboyant manner and reckless courage .This is definitely not this place !We had a group in for dinner the other day and the service and food were very dissapointing .We were hoping for great treats and wound up going out to grab a burger after leaving .We started with 4 appetizers ,the octupus, mussels, mushroom salad and burrata .The mussels were almost non existent in thier shells and they were very very ordainary in flavor ,you would do better at a clam shack ,The mushroom salad had some oyster mushrooms sprinkled throughout but was mostly greens ,again with little flavor ,the burrata couldve been done better at a pizzeria. Now for the entrees ,we ordered the filet ,salmon ,lamb shank and venison special. My dish, the salmon was cooked correctly but had no seasoning whatsoever. It was served with a small puddle of mashed potato puree, again all I tasted was potato and no seasoning .The vegetable medley was good but again underseasoned. My fellow diners all agreed that the food was flavorless and all the components were not compatable in each dish .Finally we had desserts, creme brulee ,white chocolate mousse and bread pudding ,everything was served ice cold even the bread pudding. It had just been taken out of a very cold refrigerator ,so again they missed the mark !I think they should change the name to Cafe Mediocre it would be a more appropiate name. They could learn to use some herbs and spices and maybe a little salt and pepper ,it would go a long way!

I called to make a reservation for my son, he was taking his girlfriend out for her birthday, and planned to get engaged that evening. I explained to the woman on the phone that this is a special occasion, and wanted to make sure something special was done for them. She understood and said she would note it on the reservation.I asked my son what Cafe Panache did for them that night and he said nothing special. I called the restaurant to complain and they asked me what I expected them to do for my son and his girlfriend. I said a candle or Happy Birthday written on a piece of cake, or Congratulations that he proposed to her would have been nice. Getting engaged is a special moment that can never be repeated. The restaurant told me "Our pastry chef is not a native English speaker" and would not know how to write "Congratulations" on their dessert. This response is absolutely repulsive, and there is no excuse for their behavior.I love the food at Cafe Panache, and have been coming here for years, but I will never return to this restaurant again.

Cafe Panache served an absolutely delicious meal from start to finish! We had a reservation for 6 people and were seated pretty promptly. Our table was comfortable, and ambiance was elegant and inviting. The service was overall very good. Our one gripe was that we loved the bread so much that we asked for another round of bread and butter, and the server agreed but then never actually brought more bread. The bread really was that good! The appetizers were scrumptious. I had the grilled octopus, which had a lovely sauce and some charred eggplant on the side. My husband had a salmon tartar appetizer, which was very tasty. For my main, I had the venison ragú gnocchi. It was rich and decadent in the best way. It was delicious. My husband had the venison steak that was succulent and flavorful. We couldn't pass up dessert, so we had the sticky toffee pudding and peppermint cheesecake. Both desserts hit the spot. We left stuffed to the brim! They allowed us to bring wine to have with dinner. Overall this was a fabulous dining experience.

Our dining experience was pleasant, with delicious food and fine service. One disappointment was with regard to how quickly our food was served. We barely had a sip of wine and appetizers came out. No sooner our appetizers were cleared, dinner arrived. It was an anniversary dinner that felt rushed. This was perplexing to us. It was not that way when we last dined here about two years ago. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were finishing dessert at 9:00. A more relaxing pace would be appreciated.
