Glad to see adults running the store. Owner was very helpful with answering my questions. After going to Dairy Queen in Allendale, NJ before, which was not open - even though it said 12 noon, and I was there from 12 to 12:30, Carvel created a fantastic ice cream cake, just the way I requested. The price was fair and I NOW have a new place for any occasion. Thank you Carvel....

He handles the ice cream cones with his bare dirty hands! This is very unsanitary and against health regulations. He should have wrappers already around the ice cream cones like Dairy Queen has. This is the proper way to handle food. Also the establishment is not that clean :(

Best ice cream around. Great selection.Quick service. Friendly staff. Gets very busy on Fri/Sat evenings but doesn't take very long to get in and out.

terrible. I ordered icecream a cone of vanilla icecream and then we found a long black HAIR in my icecream. Disgusting!
Always great ice cream. Purchased a cake which had vanilla/chocolate swirl thru out the cake with fudge on top. Never had this before. Could not locate it at my local Carvel.

I was very disappointed with this Carvel location, but after reading the reviews on Yelp and Google, I understand the dissatisfaction. Upon entering the place felt a bit dated. The staff (presumably one of them the owner) seemingly rushed us to order. I opted to get the small sundae for the Wednesday BOGO special. I asked for strawberry topping on the bottom rather than on the top. The man decided to scoop a smidge of strawberry, very small (even smaller than 'small' at other caravels) serving of vanilla soft serve and then a bit more of strawberry sauce. He charged an additional two toppings. In the end, I felt that he was too stingy with the serving size and opted to upcharge. I don't see myself returning to this shop.

I absolutely LOVE Carvel soft serve icecream. I went here with family and wanted to buy everything , but landed on a simple vanilla cup with multi colored sprinkles like I used to have as a kid. It didnt disapoint. When I tell you how I ate that entire cup in minutes. .. whew.... it was worth the drive over.As for the staff, they were great. Service was fast and friendly.
