Had a great time at Houlihan's, Ramsey, NJ. "Maria the Great" was our waitress & she was the best! Excellent service! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, very upbeat, friendly, & we will definitely go back! Food was great too! Warm, cozy atmosphere. Go to Houlihan's in Ramsey! Ask for "Maria the Great" Order the Seared George Banks scallops! You won't be disappointed!

I got the risotto and scallops and my wife got the Ahi tuna salad with bananas and everything was great. Tuna was cooked perfectly as well as the scallops. Our server was on point and very courteous . Awesome food for a chain restaurant.

We like Houlihan 's food, service and atmosphere. Their fajitas (with lettuce cups), black bean burger, and salmon are all delicious! And recently we went and ordered 3 appetizers (no meal) and had to take 1/2 home.They're also very accommodating when it comes to substituting sides.Our service is also consistently good.Dietary restrictions: Low fat / cholesterol diet - there's limited choices for me, but there's limited choices for me everywhere. What they have is delicious. I usually order the fajitas with lettuce cups, or black bean burger or salmon. And I swap the fries for broccoli. All delicious!

Server really struggled to handle party. Orders were wrong throughout service. Take out order was incorrect. Server needed extensive training. St. Patrick’s day food was disappointing. Haven’t been here in a while and definitely won’t be back.

2nd time there, ordered prime rib, and they're out if it again, sign at the door, plus on the specials menu, very disappointed.Ordered the Houlihan cheeseburger in place of, meat was extremely tough, cheese like rubber. Lettuce completely wilted.Everyone else's meal was satisfactory.There's a restaurant every 6 feet, will have to consider those.

Just meh. Use to love their blackened ahi tuna salad. Lost it's flare. Husband was disappointed with the chicken Parm sandwich. "Dry" Kids said "ok"Service was ok. Plenty of open tables, was seated next to the kitchen.

I have come here for the late night happy hour but this was the first time eating here. We were seated right away, but next time I will definitely avoid this table because it's right next to the kitchen and they use this obnoxious microphone system to call out orders in the kitchen. Our server was really nice and worked quickly. We ordered the prime rib as well as the spinach dip. The spinach dip was ok, but not hot enough for my husband. After we got the dip our server came back and told us that they had run out of rib. We were considering going elsewhere but then my husband ended up getting a steak and I ordered French dip. My husband said his steak was surprisingly good as well as the sides and you can't go wrong with a French dip. One of the managers stopped by our table to apologize about the prime rib which I thought was nice. He also recommended calling ahead if we wanted prime rib so that they would save us a portion. We will definitely come back since the plates that did come out with prime rib looked good.
