Came for our company's holiday party, and glad I left earlier than our start time because parking was very limited. The lot is very small so for a large event carpooling or valet is highly recommended. The venue itself has an old world charm to it with beautiful views of the golf course and lake. We were downstairs which provided ample natural light. The food was good and lol served hors d'oeuvres style. There was also a cash bar and thankfully they also accepted credit card. Ample bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. The music was a wide variety by the DJs.

First time visiting the Lakeside Grill & Bar at Ramsey County Club. We had a lovely time listening to The Kootz band playing mellow acoustic music. The service was incredible!Armando and Jean Marie were amazing. Starting off, my son and I shared a wonderful shrimp cocktail appetizer and burbon hotwings.We both ordered the signature steak which came with mashed potatoes, string beans and carrots. The shrimp were fresh and delicious! The wings were awesome! The signature steaks were amazing, prepared perfectly!My son had rice pudding for dessert and I had one of the best cappuccinos ever!!As we were leaving, Paula the hostess, explained that the restaurant would be closing temporarily for expansion of the atrium and other renovations. I can understand the expansion but the restaurant is so pretty it's hard to imagine why they'd want to change anything else.Paula and Jean Marie said that the restaurant will close on January 1, 2024 for a year so if you want to have a fantastic dinner, you have until then.I highly recommend Thursday night when there's live music playing in the barroom area.I'm a little disappointed that I hadn't frequented the Lakeside Grill & Bar before finding out about the renovations and temporary closure to come. However, I intend to be a regular customer when they reopen in 2025. The cappuccino alone is worth going for!Everything between the band, the people, fabulous fare and the atmosphere was great! It's worth waiting a year to go back after the renovations but we'll definitely be going this December for a night of music and a fabulous dinner before the restaurant closes for its renovations. 5 stars and highly recommended, get out to the Lakeside Grill & Bar at Ramsey County Club while you can! On a dreary afternoon the waitress, food, and ambience of the people and views made the day special. We were there to celebrate two wonderful neighbors who have birthdays this month. One will be turning 98 on the 11th and other turning 93 on the 28th. The waitress was especially friendly. Thank you

Food was great (we had steak and pasta + dessert), staffs were super friendly, and we just had our anniversary dinner there (we got married at the Ramsey golf CC) it was so great to be back!

Not busy at all during our visit. Nice views. Waiter was polite and friendly. My friends cocktail wasn't to her liking and he gladly exchanged it for another. Can't beat the half sandwich with soup or salad. Way too much food. Black bean burger, or the sauce on it was a little spicy, which I enjoy. White sangria was very sweet. Not unlike a lot of establishments theses days, a % is added for credit card charge, or as most advertise, a discount for cash payment. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.
Nice menu, Consistently good food. Nice, casual atmosphere. Sun porch tables overlook golf course. Good service. Interesting specials such as pasta night. A good place for lunch or dinner.

I ate there last night with my family and the food was not good at all. Fried Calamari was very very salty and cold and the marinara sauce was terrible. We couldn't even use it to dip the calamari in. My son and husband both had filet mignon and neither of them ate it. Mashed potatoes were cold as well. I had the mussels appetizer special as my appetizer and that was not even warm. It tasted good while I was eating it but my stomach has been sick since I got home last night and I'm still having digestive issues.Service was mediocre except for the hostess. We didn't complain but I feel like the server should have noticed that no one ate their food.I was very surprised to be this disappointed. I will never go back there. We spent $200 on a bad meal that literally made me sick. I usually don't regret eating out, but today I do!

This was the first time that we ever experienced a poor dining experience at Lakeside. And this covers 30 years! Our drinks were either overly strong (Margaritas) or weak tasting (Rum and Tonic) and specialty Apple drink. Our entrees were tasteless and overcooked (Clubhouse burger) undercooked and flavorless (Carbonara) or very fatty (Short Rib). This was a birthday celebration and was a food disappointment. Service was good. We hope we have a better experience in the future.

My wife and I were looking to try a new place for a change. After looking at the Dinner Menu, I saw Shrimp & Risotto which is one of my wife's favorites and a nice meat selection for me (I ended up ordering the Prime-Rib). Her dinner was amazing, while mine was good a little too fatty. We will definitely be going again because the pricing was good and the Atrium that we ate in was very nice. It is located on a golf course, but the people were not 'Stuck Up' as we have found from eating at other Golfing Clubs. The staff were welcoming and polite. I know that my Mother-N-Law is going to love it when we visit again.
