Cozy clean cafe with a nice ambiance and lots of samples of cosmetic products to try , good service . I couldn't give it 5 stars though because the quality of latte was pretty low . It didn't have authentic gourmet taste you would expect from a place like this . If you are as particular about coffee as I am , this isn't a place for you .

Grateful something like this exists as far as organic and healthy options, but the flavors in the harvest bowl were lacking. Maple Vinaigrette was disappointing. As a chef, there’s some work to be done.

We are so thankful to have such a warm and inviting cafe in our town! We love coming here to hang out and relax, especially in their outdoor patio space during the warm weather. The staff here is always wonderful, they’re so attentive and friendly. The Mindful Cafe offers delicious, organic and clean food, which is not easy to come by. We enjoy many of their options, but our favorites are the egg and cheese on croissant, Buffalo chicken panini and açaí bowl. You also cannot miss their bakery items like the banana bread, as they are absolutely delicious. Their coffee and lattes are the real stand out for us since each cup is brewed to order. I always enjoy starting my days with a warm cup of coffee from here!

So I want to be clear I only gave this place a two star review in hopes that the owner gets this message and resolves a very simple issue that in my opinion is detrimental to their overall rating. This place has great food great atmosphere, great selection of healthy food, great coffee and caring service, but it’s lacking one thing that could completely change A big problem they’re having. The staff seems to really hustle and care, but they always seem to be frazzled when they are busy. That is a internal organizational issue that should be corrected but the simple issue for the patrons that could be corrected and free up at least one or two staff members is a pick up only counter with self-serve condiments, included extras. Let’s face it, their location is in Ramsey, NJ. A honor system for people to come and grab their order off the counter is almost no risk to the owner. It’s not like they ask for ID or a order number when you pick up now, so what’s really the difference. The last four times I have been there, picking up a order to go or eat in. I waited in line for an average of 20 minutes, looking at my order sitting next to the cashier. I’m not the type of person to be rude and jump in front of other people to simply grab my order and go, so I wait, as my food gets cold and soggy. So now I’m thinking I came to this awesome place that has everything I want, including caring service, great food, quality, convenience, friendly, staff, has all gone from a five star to a two star because I couldn’t grab my order and go while it was hot and delicious.

The food was healthy and good, the staff there is great, sharp and attentive however the same can’t be said for customers.I came there many times but today (Wednesday 14th) was exceptionally loud I couldn’t concentrate on my study and my meeting afterwards with my professor.Mindful cafe has a lot of potential but it’s sad to say the atmosphere isn’t quite there yet people don’t seem to comprehend what a study or peaceful cafe is about. If the cafe staff could handle the noisy clients it would be magnificent I’m not asking for a library vibe but I’m also not asking for a football game noise level

If you are looking for a real café experience, you can make the trip to Europe, or you can go to the Mindful Cafe -- it certainly transported me back to Europe in an instant. Oh, did I mention the lovingly prepared foodies there, delicious and original. Be prepared to de-stress, feel relaxed and fulfilled. I have finally found a sanctuary outside my own home. Impress your friends -- take them there !!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan and staff sensitive to other dietary considerationsParking: Depends on time of day, but parking is free in Ramsey, Thank you Town of Ramsey. Also a great place to shopKid-friendliness: A couple if children there were quite comfortable and enjoying the Cafe experience. Mindful Cafe also had some othe products to offer on the shelves in the back, some would make wonderful gifts.

A cute organic and healthy spot with drinks, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, bowls and baked goodsI applaud the mission of this spot to offer "clean" foods and drinks, that's refreshing! Lots of interesting things on the menu, from the usual suspects like avocado toast to warm bowls and sandwiches. There are some vegan items but they also serve things like chicken and eggs. I enjoyed the tempeh "BLT" except the bread was a little burned and we ordered the black bean burrito and got the bowl instead (didn't want to complain as they were busy and self admittedly short staffed). You order at the counter and then get a number to bring to your table; you can also order with your phone using their qr code. The tables in the first room are more conducive to eating and the second room is more to hang out, study, chat. Today was not super busy but I could see it getting crowded as it's not that big in there. They also sell some other things like lotions, candles, noodles, jewelry. They serve things in recyclable plates and reusable utensils.Bathrooms also have super soft toilet paper and good ingredient soap and lotions (nice touch!) Hope this spot stays in business! Street parking only.
