Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. Everyone loves their service, food, and drinks along with the prices. Can't say enough good about a restaurant I once wrote off as an older crowd. If you haven't visited in a while, give it another chance and they WILL impress you.

Easter Buffet was crowded. Food was outside in a tent, bountiful amount of average food. Not enough servers for a holiday buffet.

went out with my family for sunday dinner. we will never be stepping foot here again and that’s a pretty easy decision after last night. while we were eating. this poor couple was getting yelled at and followed out of the restaurant by some psycho with glasses. He tried to hit the couple, the man from the couple was ready to defend himself. When someone else hit the man threatening them, not only did he get banned from here. But the poor couple he attacked got banned as well. If I were them, I’d tell everyone I know to not come here. They clearly don’t care about their customers safety.
