I hosted a Confirmation party. I knew that even though I was the dinner host, my obligations would cause me to be among the last to arrive. The staff at La Strada took note of my request to have pre ordered hot and cold appetizers available for my guests soon after they arrived. The food was wonderful, the service was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend for your next special event.

The dining room looks like an outdated banquet room. Terrible ambiance with lights way too bright. The food is mediocre; my fish tasted and looked like frozen fish from Costco. Expensive and not worth it.

My husband and I had delicious appetizers: Barrata and Asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto He had the Sole special and I ordered chicken Giambotta and both were very tasty and my chicken was amazingly tender. The staff was great. Looks like they got a great chef again so give them a try!

While it is a bit on the pricy side, this place had some really good food and service, best place for a special date nightParking: The area to get in can be a little hidden, really the only negative on this place aside from the prices

Very clean and friendly service. Disappointment was the food. Ordered a meal the same me that I had enjoyed on a previous visit about a year ago. The sauce in the pasta dish was not the expectation at all, shrimp overcooked. The appetizer we ordered was the mozzarella corozza and it was very dry. Always loved coming there but probably won't be back.

Food was ok when we finally got it. Took 1 hour and 9 minutes to receive. Had to keep asked the waiter for everything, including the actual menus. Very disappointed on a special valentines dinner. Will not be going back.

Starting out , the bread was stale and the signature margarita was awful , the mussels in wine were good as an appetizer , the squid ink pasta was terrible , overcooked and mushy , my wife wanted pasta with her shrimp entre and was brought potatoes. , which turned out to be the only part of lunch she liked . The service was subpar at best, only one person on the floor on Valentine's Day , even though there was 1 other couple dining the waiter kept disappearing . First and last time there , not recommended at all

The food and service were amazing. However as we were the only ones at lunch on Super Bowl Sunday other than a private party, it was a little awkward and so had to rate ambiance midway. The wait staff was understanding and let us choose a table in the bar.

Very, very dated place with old, smelly carpet and furniture. Food wise carbonara was good, chillean sea bass which they served as cod was weird smelling, no taste, no acidity seasonable vegge inedible - carrot and broccoli cooked in chicken stock perhaps? Yuck- very weird, unpleasant taste - what if you r pescaterian?, potatoes killed in deep fryer. Overall lack of finesse, ingredients on the plate don't go together.Salad had frozen cucumber and oddly sliced tomatoes. Dollop of dressing on top. Premade.Bread and butter was good, server was kind. We were only once in the dining room, very first time dining at the restaurant. Don't bring date here or you ll fail 100% guaranteed.Said thank you, left 18% tip - Won't be back.

From having to send my drink back for a wrong mixture to my entree not being properly prepared and the waiter just shrugging it all off, this was a one and done dinner. Waiter tried to be comical but came off as an embarrassment. My veal was tough and chewy as well. Skipped dessert otherwise I would have more to offer.

my wife ordered the Shrimp Diavolo and found it outstanding- as good as it was the last time that she had it. This was why she reordered it. I was a 1st time diner and ordered the Veal Marsala. I t was tasty but I felt a lttle more of the wine flavor should have been present. the vegetable mix was a nice complementary blend of carrots & broccoli. The meal arrived piping hot. I would reorder it!

One of our favorite places, and has been since we moved to NJ in 1995. The place is lovely, the food is great and prices are reasonable Last night was no exception. We had the Clams Oregenato, Shrimp and Scallops over Black Pasta, and the Shrimp Fantasia. All were excellent.Special mention to our waitress;, Gina, who was friendly, attentive and a pleasure to talk to.
