We've been members for 3 years and have made so many wonderful lifetime memories entertaining friends and family on the water in NJ and out of state. The boats are always pristine and ready to go. I love the recent updates made to the restrooms/shower/deck, but the genuine warmth and professionalism from Patrick and his entire staff are what truly make Carefree special.

Okay cute outdoor place to sit by the water. Not fancy at all, BYOB and more of a homey atmosphere. Got the lobster special, though couldn’t even finish it. It didn’t taste well at all. Don’t plan on going back.

I love boating. I also love my family. To be able to get on a boat effortlessly (gas full, battery charged, engines warmed, and everything is clean) means we can board without hesitation and with the family still excited.On the outbound, to disembark a boat effortlessly (dockhands ready with lines, no cleaning, no maintenance, and helping hands to bring back rods & fish) is a dream come true.If you, like me, enjoy the water and want to keep your family enjoying it too, this club is an absolute must. The location cannot be beat, the crew is incredible (Patrick is the man!), and you're on one of the best fishing, cruising, tubing, and dock & dining in all of the East Coast. Too many positives to list! 10+ stars from me...

Carefree Boat Club in Red Bank is absolutely awesome! The boats are always available whenever our family wanted to hit the water, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing time.The best thing about this place is how easy they make it for you to become a boater. They offer training sessions that are really useful and make you feel more confident when you're out on the water. You don't have to worry about a thing, they've got your back!Seriously, if you want to have a blast boating on the Navesink and around Sandy Hook, go check out Carefree Boat Club.

This was our first time here, we were in the mood for some seafood. So we googled and this place popped up. We decided to give it a try, this is a cash only place. Parking is near, but you have to pay at a kiosk. We were seated immediately, at the best table, right by the water. Awesome veiw! You have to order/pay for your food at the window and they will bring it to you. We got grouper sandwiches, shrimp dumplings. Everything was delicious. And its byob...I would definitely recommend.

Great setting and atmosphere. Beautiful site right on the water. Open air dining only. Almost self serve but where staff was involved (seating, delivering the food to the table, clean up), they were very nice. Food was OK and prices were good.

Went here last night for a low key, casual dinner with family. We were seated immediately and greeted by Mo who was an absolute sweetheart. Food was delish and reasonably priced for fresh seafood. Great water views and friendly attentive staff. We will be most definitely be back!

Boondocks is my favorite restaurant to visit during the summer when I am in town. I always organize my friends to meet there. I love the lobster special and starters such as fried calamari and tuna bites. So good and reasonably priced! The view is great and the staff is so friendly. I highly recommend it for a fun summer evening!

If you want to sit out on the water and enjoy a wonderful sunset while dining on the best lobster deal you’ll find (Tues-Thurs) with a great atmosphere, this is the place! The lobster roll s cooked perfectly and is simply amazing! I also love the coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries.Owner Kelly and her sister Moe liven up the place by getting to know every customer! BYOB. Summer at the Jersey Shore wouldn’t be the same without this place!

Tonight was our first time visiting the Boondocks, and let me tell you...we will be coming back for more! The staff were the friendliest people I've ever met and so willing to answer my questions but strike up a conversation at the same time. (just what I like!)My husband and I were out for our anniversary and looking for a place with some good food but casual setting and this was it!!! The woman Mo at the front was like talking to an old friend! Talk about feeling like you were at home...it was such a cute little outside area, not fancy, a mix of couples and families. You order yourself at the window and they bring to the table. The price was just right and the servings were huge!
