This is the third time we've been to the Civiche house. The first two visits were very good, the food was tasty and was served hot. Last night's visit was the opposite, the appetizers and the main entree were not served hot. The fish was served one piece warm and the other cold, rice was luke warm. Also the execution of service is still Lacking, dirty plates sitting on the table and when dinner was served the server had no idea who ordered what, and plates were exchanged. The staff is friendly but that just Doesn't cut it.

Our server was very helpful and the food was very good. However the ambiance could have been better. It's very bright and a bit noisy. We went to dinner with another couple on a Saturday night. The ambience was more of an afternoon vibe. If the lights were dimmer it would have been better. It's a relatively new restaurant with a few tweaks it should be better. As I said the food quality was very good. Depending on what a friend was looking for, I may or may not recommend it.

I also tried the fried red snapper and beef dishes, which were tasty.The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and friendly staff, offering reasonable prices for quality Peruvian cuisine. I booked the Ceviche house for a group of friends as we were heading to Peru on vacation. It was actually a surprise and the staff were just excellent at accommodating everything I was looking for including dropping stuff off early, to being able to do a quick presentation projection, to whipping up Pisco Sour drinks (once I provided the alcohol). Truly a fantastic experience and the food was excellent as well.
