Great service on short notice for a custom cake for my baby shower. The designer was most accommodating. And the cupcakes were delicious.

10/10 CUSTOM CAKE! I wanted to get a custom cake for my boyfriend’s surprise party. Cupcake Magician was incredibly helpful in assisting me through the entire process from choosing a cake to securing with a deposit. The pricing is reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. The inspiration photo I sent was replicated almost exactly! Incredibly impressed with the entire experience. And the cannoli cake was DELICIOUS!! Will definitely be ordering again if I ever need another custom cake.

I ordered a Dallas cowboys cake for my boyfriends 50th birthday which I picked up Sunday. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because I received a call around 2pm saying we are only open til 3 and your pick up time is 4. Sorry the person who took your order must of made a mistake. I won't be here at 4. So I had to have someone else rush to go get it in a short amount of notice. Thank god they helped me out today and As someone who is very organized and scheduled this was disappointing when you rely the day of for a service and to be honest I was thrown off track for my party that night because of this and I ordered way in advance. So while I was trying to get balloons, gifts, party favors ready for the party my whole schedule changed which was super inconvenient for me. But mistakes happen and I was understanding. I was able to have someone pick it up before 315 and I am glad I had someone who was able to make it on time. Just some advice definitely confirm they will be open and make sure the business hours match your pick up time so your not thrown off as well. On the other hand I'm giving this 4 stars because the cake was absolutely delicious I received many compliments at the party and the way it was decorated was more than I anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised when I seen it. The chocolate mousse inside was delicious and the buttercream was the perfect sweetness and not overdone. As someone who normally doesn't like sweets or cake this made me take another bite. Everyone at the party even hard critics asked where I purchased this from. The second thing for Red bank Being usually very expensive this cake was very affordable for the amount of work and quality and quantity. I was expecting a higher quote for this cake. The pricing of this place is very low. My boyfriend was really surprised and loved it. So although I had a bad experience in the beginning I ended up getting a beautiful cake at a great price. I would order again all in all. Thanks cupcake.

Cakes and cupcakes absolutely delicious but that's about it. They have some serious communication and organization issues. My husband put in an order for a 30th birthday cake with a special design. Spoke with a lady on the phone and confirmed order. She asked for images to be sent to their email for the cake design which he sent. We were supposed to have a call with the cake designer to confirm everything and they never called. He assumed everything was good to go. He picked up the cake and it was their regular basic design not the special design requested. He spoke with someone on the phone again and said they were sorry but they couldn't offer a solution because the cake designer wasn't in and basically said that sucks but too bad for you. Husband was supposed to get a call that following Monday from the cake designer to discuss the issue and so they could offer us something for the mistake and NO ONE CALLED. Absolutely unorganized and terrible business and customer service. Such a bummer because it was a favorite bakery of my family. We'll never go back. So disappointed. I hope management sees this and fixes their issues. I'd hate for someone else be be absolutely devastated and disappointed on a very special birthday. This place really did ruin something that was super important to me.
