Excellent service and food is exceptional and with some creative twists. Bar is busy and loud--but has a vibrant crowd

Been here a few times in past and come back for the neopolitan pizza and burger. Came today after 5+ months and though the burger was good as ever, the pizza was not. The crust was not good or puffy on edges (like it used to be) and the cheese was not good and super sparse. Atmosphere and service were top notch as usual. Not sure what happened to the pizza, but my kids and I were disappointed.

A whole new place to the old Nicolas since my last review five years ago. Menus change based on the time and day of the week. We've been there three times in the last three weeks. Dinner, lunch and mid-day. Never disappointed. Bar service is outstanding.

Overrated fair at best. Too expensive for supposed comfort food. Pig dish is just pulled pork.

Had a great time with the family on Sunday. Our server- Lauren G (name on receipt) was outstanding! Her service, sense of urgency and friendliness was second to none. Thank you Lauren for accommodating our needs with our child; plastic cup with lid..... It's the little things.Kid-friendliness: Server- Lauren G was so nice to us and our child!

We used a gift certificate we received for dinner last night. It's a good thing because if I had to pay full price for the food that was served, I'd be a little perturbed. Just my opinion but, the menu did nothing to entice me. I wound up ordering the burger which was cooked just as I ordered it. That and my cocktail were the only things I enjoyed. My companion ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I've had better quality chicken at a diner. The french fries were soggy and inedible. We couldn't eat them. They were left on the table. The French Onion soup tasted like canned bullion and the cheese was almost tasteless. The fried pickles were also a disappointment. Not enough flavor. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was pleasant but, I'll never return.

We sat in the "enclosed patio area." Extremely noisy. Couldn't even hear what the waitress said. Ordered cocktails, appetizers and dinner. We had the tuna tartare which was excellent, but the grilled oysters weren't great. I had the swordfish which after ordering it medium to medium-rare, got it welldone- like shoe leather. My wife had the halibut- it was ok. One of the food managers came to see me and within 5 minures, I had a medium swordfish dinner that was excellent. We ordered a second round of cocktails that was made obviously by another bartender. So much bettet they were a Negroni and an Aperol spritz. We did not have dessert but haf a double espresso, which was the real thing, and a cappucino. Overall, I think the place is good, but staff could be better in fulfilling what the customers want.I think we should ALL be a little more critical with others and ourselves. Where are we all going?? Mediocrity is not acceptable.

A very popular destination with locals and for dinner it won’t disappoint. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly, same room for dessert because they are out of this world! The food was excellent too, the Nicholas Burger really hit the spot, and did I mention desserts! Seriously no one would blame you for just going here for them, sinful and delicious. Great for a low key event like birthday or anniversary.
