I just wanted to thank the staff at the Melting Pot for a fun experience. I had the pleasure of having a daddy/daughter night out with my 9-year-old and took her to one of her favorite places in Red Bank. We didn't have a reservation, but they could sit us. We never felt rushed; after all, it is an "experience" when we go there. Staff was friendly and my daughter felt special. The manager, Dave, stopped by from time to time to see how things were going as well which her feel like we were a "big deal".Not exactly my type of restaurant but the experience and memories that her and I will have are priceless. THANK YOU FOR THAT!!

I purchased the Birthday experience and it was not an experience. Save your money. It came with a large balloon display, which was nice. Our server was less than attentive. He forgot about the experience, and asked if we’d like to take the dessert home. Instead of lighting the sparkler and bringing the desert out on a late he literally put it in a box. NO EXPERIENCE!! I was so disappointed. The manager or owner would creepily walk by our table, stare and not say anything. Never again.

They have a vegan menu! For vegan the fondue cheese was pretty good and the veggies were fresh. The vegan chocolate fondue was ok, it was really thick so an odd texture and really sweet. Make sure to mention you're going to need a separate burner of you are strict vegan and who you are with is not so you are not sharing a cooking pot.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant itself, but it was quite loud, and 30 minutes past our appointment time we finally gave up and left.

Tried going for Valentine’s day as a special first time experience but even with an early reservation had to walk out with how slow they went about seating. Hostess offered some to sit at the bar and ignored others, not sure how I felt about it all to begin with. Was able to secure another favorite spot nearby with zero issues but I guess every restaurant is a bit different on how they deal with holiday crowds..

Extraordinary gluten free options. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, and the gluten free bread and desserts were amazing.

Fantastic experience! Server was very attentive and helpful. Great experience!! Manager informed us he had turned the heat on even though I think another table had requested a temperature change.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were amazing! Actual gf bread for the fondue!! Servers were very knowledgeable on allergies. Made my whole day!

Absolutely delicious - we really enjoyed the whole experience. The price was a bit high, though - over $200 for 3 people - no cocktails or add ons. Great for a special occasion though.

We had a 7pm reservation. Upon arrival at 6:50pm we were told that our table was not ready yet. So we went to the bar for a drink. At 7:10 still with no table, I went to the hostess and was told we would be seated shortly. Finally at 7:25 we were seated at a table. Our first course came out and the server walked away and then we realized that we had no silverware or napkins. After that ordeal, a manager came to our table and said “we will make things right for you tonight” and proceeded to hand us a coupon for 25% off of our NEXT visit and the coupon expires in 2 months. I would have preferred no manager come to our table at all and that “coupon” was a slap in our face.

We have gone to The Melting Pot for our special occasions for years. The experience never waivers, only gets better over time. They never rush you, so it's a nice experience as well as a meal. The drinks are creative, and the service is always great. This past time we had Kristin and she was sweet, accommodating, and made us feel special. Thanks Melting Pot!

Once seated, the service was great. Spencer was wonderful. However, I had made reservations for 6:30p. The hostess admitted they were a bit behind - not a big deal - and told us we'd be seated in a “couple” of minutes. Looking around, you could tell that wouldn't be the case. But every new person who approached the desk was told, “a couple of minutes.” A family with the same number of diners as my party arrived 30 minutes late for their reservation. They insisted on being seated before us, even though my party arrived 5 minutes before our reservation. They were accommodated. We were finally seated 45 minutes after our reservation time. So, don't lie to your patrons. Have the hostesses set reasonable expectations when diners arrive to your establishment.
