“This was such a pleasant experience. I was craving Mexican food, but as a Muslim, I was thoroughly surprised and pleased to see that this place was halal. The owner and his daughter were so kind and hard at work to make sure every customer was satisfied. The birria burger was amazing and left me wanting more despite being full. “Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“
“Highly recommend and I would come again!We came as a party of 10 in Ramadan but the service was great. The staff were kind and attentive, food was served quickly, and it was delicious! We also got hummus, shepherd salad, and fries as starters to share, which were great. For entrees, I got the chicken sis with rice and the chicken was tender. I love their white sauce as well, so good! Portions were perfect. With tip our total was $35 per person which is reasonable for the amount of food we had.“
“The staff at Antioch Restaurant were attentive and explained the items that were brought out.- The offered a great wine selection and is BYOB.-Karişik meze starter : Fried Eggplant With Tomato Sauce, Hummus, Tatziki, Eggplant Salad, Babaganush, and Labne were absolutely delicious-Every dish was flavorful and highlighted Mediterranean spices. My favorites were the Lamb Adana, grilled meatballs and balloon bread paired with the Karişik meze tabaği.-I also thoroughly enjoyed the Sutlac (rice pudding) and kazandibi (milk pudding). “I been wanting to try this restaurant out and I’m glad I did!! I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Ended up getting a chicken platter, chicken shawarma and falafels. This will be my go-to for falafels!! So crisp on the outside & fluffy, moist in the inside. I had a few bites of the chicken and rice platter and I like it better than my normal halal restaurant! A little bit more pricey than other restaurants, but so good! I will definitely order from here again!!“

“Recently started ordering from here and have tried the tandoori chicken bowl. It’s sometimes a bit too salty but usually pretty good. My only complaint is that they charge you for sides of sauce which I am totally fine with but they barely put any sauce in the container. If you are going to charge people for sauce you should at least fill the container. They ran out of white sauce one day and instead of letting us know they just sent a different sauce (not sure what it was) and still charged for it. Not the end of the world and again I do not mind being charged extra for sauce but it would have been nice to have a heads up. Good place for a quick bite and they are open late!“
“Amazing gyros some of the best in the area always get them both the chicken and lamb, fresh and extremely tasty! Also very honest people working here usually the same guy always a $20 bill fell out of my pocket he found it came outside almost a block down to hand it back to me! “Absolutely outstanding! I recently visited Pidde Lahmajun and was blown away by both the flavor and service. Tunç and the entire team truly know how to make a customer feel special. Every bite of the Lahmajun was a delightful journey of taste, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was welcoming, and the staff, especially Tunç and his friends, were incredibly attentive and friendly. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and customer service, but Pidde Lahmajun does just that. A solid 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!“
“It was packed to the door when we arrived and we hesitated that it would be a long wait. We decided to see it through and waited on line. The wait actually wasn't so bad as we waited a table cleared up so I grabbed one as my husband waited to place an order. The line moved along fairly well and after placing the order I believe we waited probably 10 minutes and the food came out. It was hot and fresh and tasty. Fries were perfect and the slider was great and not too much of anything. Absolutely love Dave's“
“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. I picked the lamb shawarma sandwich and would recommend it. The service was amazing and everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. All of our orders were correct. Jami and the other staff are always so kind to answer any questions I have about certain dishes and food items. I hope to try the lunch buffet sometime soon— there’s many delicious meals to choose from. I usually order Vegetable Samosas, Paneer Masala with Basmati Rice and Garlic Tandoori Naan. “This place is a bit confusing because it's advertised online as an Indian restaurant and a diner but it's not either of those things. The inside atmosphere and the menu options are that of a restaurant, not a diner, and none of it is Indian. The food is excellent - many good salad and burger options, and great dinner entrees. Everything I've ever ordered from here has been good, is ready super fast, has always been correct, and packed well with condiments, etc for a to-go order. The hardest part of ordering/visiting here is there is never any parking. The parking lot next to the entrance is owned by another company and blocked off prohibiting access. Any time I have to pick up an order to go, I have to park down at the post office (about two blocks away), but the food has been consistently good so I will continue to order from here as long as I'm not in a rush.“

“My wife and I came here for the first time to break our fast during Ramadan since it serves only Halal meat. The interaction started wrong since I got a burger with cheese when I asked for none on my Waygu. The kitchen quickly corrected it even with so many orders ahead of me. “I recently moved to jersey from nyc and one of things I missed the most is halal food. This place really hits the spot, the gyro platter is really good. The rice and meat is seasoned really well. The white sauce passes the test but the hot sauce is weak. The price isn't nyc prices but the 13 bucks you pay you get a pretty generous amount. Definitely good to coming back.“

“I picked this spot for lunch because it was halal, and I had a halal client. I ordered the party box along with a separate box for myself. I ordered the turkey burger slider and crispy chicken slider with jalapeños. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in, and the food was ready. I grabbed everything and left. When I dug in, the sliders were really good. My favorite was the turkey burger slider. It was super flavorful. All in all I had a good experience!“

The portions were enormous (except for the rice) and they include everything including utensils, serving spoons, tongs, toppings, sauces and aluminum bowls. I wish they included more rice since it is advertised to be for 5 people and the meat wasn't as salty.“

“I was revisiting from out of town and was asking all of my family members which shawerma spot they would recommend. I've lived in Jersey for 10 years prior to the visit, so I've tried all the OG places. I received multiple responses, but I chose this place because I really trusted this cousins taste in Syrian Shawerma. I ordered the chicken and....THIS PLACE SLAPS! It would totally pass a blind taste test! The ratio of ingredients in every bite was absolute perfection! Although I asked for extra garlic sauce on the side, it was not used or needed at all.I took away a star because of the lack of hospitality. The woman in the front was yelling at the guys in the back from the second I walked in. She was creating such a toxic work environment. At one point she involved the customer while arguing with one of the cooks to help prove that she was right. I was appalled! I was so embarrassed for both the customer and the cook. God bless the cook for his patience. That tone and demeanor should never be used in public, let alone with co workers.Syrian places usually have the best hospitality, this was not only lacking, but extremely uncomfortable to watch and be present for. This lady is going to chase away everyone she works with, and will probably chase away the customers too.
