Hands down a gem of Ridgewood! Parking is tricky but worth circling the block! Not sure if we went on an off peak day or time, but we were the only ones in the restaurant... but our experience was nothing short of great! We ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, French onion soup and roasted vegetables. I found everything to be tender and flavorful. The French onion was not overpowering, one of my favorites! The decoration was masculine and no frills. The table top covers are butcher block paper. Looking forward to come back!

This is our third time revisiting ‘Le Bon Choix’, over 6 months duration. Never any missed connection with food, service or ambience. Always a hit two thumbs up ? ?‘The French Chick’ ? ? sandwich is a must ?Highly recommend it ?Kid-friendliness: Side order of pulled chicken ? is a hit for kids ??
We went there today and were totally disappointed considering reading such good reviews, I ordered a cappuccino and their machine was not working so I had a regular coffee which was horrible. That should have been the first clue. I ordered the salmon and the carrots for the side dish. The salmon didn’t even look like salmon. It was white. It had absolutely no taste at all and was overcooked. The ginger carrots were hard. It was a horrible meal and I would NOT recommend!!! Waste of money!!!

Great food, Nice tables and atmosphere, the waiter was really nice. Went with 4 friends, had a great time. Everything was very smooth. I liked it a lot. They do have some french food, but its more like louisiana french then metropolitan french. its halal too which is great

We’ve been twice now and both times the food has been just awesome. The barbecue sauce is to die for and the croissant french toast is perfect. Lexi was our server and she was beyond friendly. Definitely will be a returning customer.
I ordered to go on their website. It really does look appetizing and appealing. Took over an hour and a half to be delivered for my lunchThe pot pie and chicken was not good. My pot pie vegetables were still on the raw side and the dough was not cooked all the way. I'm assuming it was too early to order or they rushed the order to have it delivered anyways. Not sure if I was suppose to cook it myself. The fried chicken skin as burnt. No flavor either. I couldn't even enjoy it. Would not return to this place.

I've been here twice. The first time I had rotisserie half chicken and it was great. My recent visit, a friend ordered a chicken sandwich with egg on top and I ordered one without the egg. They mixed our orders up. Was not a fan of the pulled chicken sandwich, had way too much going on. Stick to the fried chicken sandwiches, burgers or the rotisserie chicken.

I hadn't eaten here in many years but we were in the neighborhood and decided to order takeout. I had gotten the roasted beet salad and my partner got the half chicken meal. Everything was delish. We also ordered the bread pudding dessert. Delicious but lacking in presentation - even though it was to go. The container just had a slab of the pudding - no whipped cream, no ice cream. I'd hope that's served nicer in person. Otherwise it was great and I will def return.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant, and despite being short staffed, the cook managed to prepare everything fresh, and the food was absolutely delicious. While the wait was longer than expected, it was well worth it. I appreciate the effort the cook put in to make sure every dish was perfect, and I commend him for his hard work and dedication. If you're willing to be patient and understanding, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for their amazing food. The chicken sandwich and burger were delicious.

Came here and they are severely lack of staff. Please come and support your local businesses and help it stay afloat. We got a couple sandwiches and they let us eat inside the restaurant. We got the Cote du Rhône, Burger and the grilled cheese- all are perfectly prepared.Edit: the chef and employee here did everything from serving to cooking to cleaning.
