So happy to have finally found a GOOD Korean spot with authentic flavors in Bergen county. The service was really great here. The people are very friendly. The decor and ambiance was welcoming and place was pretty clean. We ordered veggie dumplings for app, crab meat bibimbap, bulgogi with vermicelli noodles lunch special and kalbi with vermicelli noodles lunch social. All dishes were really great. I highly recommend trying their bulgogi.

Food was great, first time trying Korean food. Very laid back place. Service was good and cost was reasonable.

We decided to come here on a Saturday night, and I recommend making a reservation if they take it. We were lucky to get a table, as the restaurant is fairly small. Service is good, and food came out in a timely manner. The menu is easy to read and figure out what you like. The entrees come with the small sides, which were all delicious. We had bao buns as an appetizer and then my husband had the LA Kal bi and I had bulgogi as entrees. There was a lot of food, definitely enough to take home. Overall generally good service with a good meal, I think it would make good take out as well.

Like everywhere in Ridgewood, parking is a nightmare. Hama has a tiny lot. It's also a very small restaurant. We came in at 6pm on a Saturday night. It was just starting to get busy. The server was super friendly and the food came out quickly. Everything is so flavorful and portions are large for the price! Unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert, so we'll be back to try more of the menu and some mochi!

Delicious food! Great service! It was our first time there. We went early on a Friday night (5:30) with a reservation because we were coming with 7 people. We were seated right away, but it got a bit crowded by the time we left at 7:30, but we were never rushed at all. Can't wait to go back!

If you're looking for a delicious beef bulgogi dish in Bergen County, look no further. Some of the best bulgogi i've ever had! Staff behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Will be returning to try other

Really awesome Korean food. I did not have a lot of expectations going in, but I was impressed with the whole thing from start to finish. Everyone was really polite and friendly and apparently we aren't. Aren't the only ones who thought the meal was good because there was a line out the door when we left. Some of their meals do come on stone plates or stone bowls which was great.Parking: The parking lot is shared with a few other businesses, but depending on the time of day it might be a little tricky and you might have to park on the street which can also be a little tricky in Ridgewood. The Ridgewood train station usually has plenty of parking and that is only a few hundred feet down the road so you'll always be able to find parking with a little walk.

As a local, this is the closest you're going to get to authentic sundubu jjigae without driving another 30+ plus minutes. Portions are better for takeout than dining in. Ask for mixed rice (purple rice) instead of the standard white rice. I don't recommend the wings if you're looking for bonchon (double fried crispy wings). The wings were not crispy at all and too salty. Kimchi was good!

We ordered Uber Eats from here so this review is solely on delivery experience. Everything we got was underwhelming, including the kimchi. We had the fried chicken wings in soy garlic flavor and that was very crispy but the flavor was missing that sweet and garlic flavor and it was way too salty. We also had the spicy rice cake and the bulgogi and both were just ok.Perhaps the food is better in person but didn't really enjoy what we received.

A nice bulgogi meal with rice and kimchi. It was very crowded when I went for takeout on a Friday night so it definitely seems popular.

Hole in the wall neighborhood place run by a Korean family. The dolsot bibimbap is amazing; so many toppings and the crispy rice is great. The lunch special is a steal for the price; you get so much food. The kimchi jjiggae is also really good. The staff is personable too and always ask how the food is.

not a fancy place but the Kimchi Jjigae is top notch. As for it very spicy to get that winter cold blaster activated.Scallion and shrimp pancake is a hit.The little side dishes they bring as an into also very nice. Fish cakes my favorite.Parking: Small parking lot, street parking with app.
