Adorable little spot I found on an online search for bubble tea/boba spots around where I was traveling in the area and this came up as the highest rated! Absolutely delicious, made fresh, not too sweet, too heavy, too watered down or too anything - PERFECT! So tasty, adorable inside (I definitely wanna come back and chill inside or grab a tea and do some work on my laptop in there) and ultra friendly customer service! Very calm and relaxed! Plenty of seating as well! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back! PS you can order ahead on their website for pickup - seamless and easy!

I used to enjoy coming to village tea when I was in high school. When they first opened up, my friends and I were some of their first customers. However, I noticed the lady who owns the shop is rude and cold & is only nice to certain people. Throughout high school, I noticed she would be very friendly towards other students, but lacked that same hospitality towards others. I went in recently and it was her and one other person working. The other person working was very nice and gave good service. However, the owner did not acknowledge us despite having a big conversation with another customer right next to us and seeing me enter the close-to-empty shop. When my drink was done, the other worker handed me my drink and said I could get my straw from near where the owner was standing. The bucket of straws was behind a wall on the counter so I couldn't reach it. The owner (who could see me in her peripheral) was apparently so engrossed in the seemingly-riveting conversation she was having with a high schooler that she didn't want to break eye contact with her and just shoved the bucket of straws towards me. An owner who would know a thing or two about customer service would have looked at me and asked "hi, how are you?" or just smiled while giving me a straw. She acts like she has never interacted with another human before & you would think the other worker has more experience than her. I will never give my money to these people again. Gongcha has much better drinks and service. Take your money there instead.

the best of the best. whether you come for the bubble teas, wellness drinks, or their extensive list of loose teas, this is the spot. the owners are kind and knowledgeable and the staff are great. I like that everything is made to order and fresh and you can customize sweetness, milks, ice level, and more. I love that they have vegan options, not all boba shops do. they also have a great seated section to do work or catch up with friends. I can't come to Ridgewood without supporting this spot - it is a gem!
