“The food was good, I ordered just a waffle and bacon recently, but unfortunately, the TV was tuned to Newsmax and I was told "it couldn't be changed". Now that I know the extreme political views of those in charge, I won't be spending any more of my money there. Nor will I recommend the Lakeside Diner any more. “I visited a couple times before COVID, and the ice cream was just as good as I remembered. It was a little too chilly to enjoy the view outside (chilly weather is perfect weather for ice cream, so it won't melt), but it was just as tasty in the car. We had coconut, strawberry and calf Trax. The waffle cone was so fresh, light and crispy. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive.“

“We made it right on time, as kitchen closes 15 minutes before closing. Food came out hot and quickly. The banh mi was insane, amazinf flavor and really nice presentation. “I threw a surprise birthday party for my wife on Saturday afternoon and I cannot say enough about the experience. The business owner, Michele, was so helpful with explaining the whole process and answering my questions. A wine-tasting is done two months in advance, to pick your wines that are consumed at the party and shared with your guests to fill, cork, and seal their own bottles to take as favors (you take home the rest). Customized labels personalized for the bottles were artistically created with my own input and suggestions. Selections of delicious catered food from a local Italian restaurant were all set-up; just brought a cake and decorations - that's it! The place is cozy without feeling crowded. The staff were cordial and professional. They took care of everything, even packing up the remaining food and placing it in boxes for easy transportation back home. Everybody remarked about what a great time they had and the wines were fabulous!“

“We got stranded in Tuxedo both before and after the Ren Fair and stopped into Reggie Bar to hang out. Everyone was so nice and welcoming there! I wish I remembered the names of the owners, but they were lovely! And we talked to a lot of the regulars too and everyone was so kind and helpful. Honestly we enjoyed our time here more than the fair, the vibes were so good. If we’re ever in Tuxedo again, we’ll definitely stop by!!“

I just wish those same brewers would take their companies offerings more serious and treat it like the incredibly difficult market they are in rather than treat it like a hobby. We have over 200 breweries and just a handful of ones that can compete in flavor with some of the better North East brewers. We need better tasting beer in our backyard.“

“Go here for amazing homemade ice-cream, Italian ice and soft serve! I love the fall favs and apple pie is to die for! It tastes like cinnamon ice-cream with little chunks of apple pie filling. I really love it! THERE ARE SO MANY FLAVORS!!! They carry pumpkin, banana and coconut seasonally which are my favs and sometimes hard to find. They even have Pineapple Dole Whip for all you fans that want to Pretend you are in a tropical island instead of the concrete jersey Jungle. The lines are long but they are quick to serve if the people in front can decide in time. They have little picnic benches on the front and side and sometimes the parking is tight but just park next door if it's after hours. Glad this gem is close to home. “I LOVED the ice cream here! And you have to get the waffle cone! Immediately upon stepping into the shop, you are hit with the smell of waffles, and the cones taste just as good they smell. I got the toasted coconut and cappuccino chocolate chip flavors, and both were delicious but my favorite was the toasted coconut. It was very unique and there were so many toasted coconut bits! The ice cream itself is rich and creamy. Definitely a key spot to go to in ridgewood“

“Same great ice cream as Boonton, same owners, pricing, everything. This one is open later into the year (December vs November). So why does Boonton get the extra star? Most of all: indoors. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best.
