I've seen better-kept pastures in the middle of a cow field. But hey, who needs a pristine course when the clubhouse got a decent hamburger, am I right? This golf course has just revolutionized the art of online security by advising everyone to change their password from "golf1234." But wait, what about the usernames that are just a bunch of numbers? Oh, who cares about those, right? Let's just invite all the hackers to come and play a round of golf while they're at it

Course needs a lot of TLC… fairways burnt… balls run off the fairway… lakes are dried out… tee boxes are all weeds… it’s a good layout and I hope it comes back but until it does you are wasting your money…
This could be the best county course, unfortunately it’s in tough shape. Fairways and greens immensely inconsistent.

The Summer sun and drought has really beat up this course. I cannot believe that they're charging the fees that they are charging.

The course itself is fine. Fairly well maintained and some challenging spots that keeps things interesting. Most of the staff are nice as well. However, I have to call out one of the gentlemen manning the front desk for rude and inappropriate behavior. I arrived for my tee time 20 minutes early and apparently the credit card machine wasn’t working. I had no cash. His response was to drive to an ATM somewhere and come back and pay in cash even though he took the credit card information of the person directly in front of me! After calling him out on this, he tells me to “calm down”. Mind you, I wasn’t yelling but may have sounded frustrated. Way to train your employees Valley Brook!

Nice and challenging course. Formerly a private course. Good price for Bergen County residents. Course is in great shape from tee to green. Nice new power golf carts.
