We came in on mother's Day without a reservation but they were able to kindly seat us within 30 minutes. The staff and service was pleasant and professional if a bit slow but given the long and busy day we didn't mind.Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I've been here before and had a better experience.The chicken francese was not pounded thin but essentially chicken fingers with a sauce that lacked the lemon flavor. We asked for mashed potatoes with it and it was runny and strangely flavored.The sea scallops were overcooked, the osso buco was ok but a bit bland.We had two more forgettable dishes as well that I won't bother detailing.At over $40 a person after tip (without alcohol) there are plenty of other options around.

The food was average Italian, not bad, but nothing stood out as being special. My husband had soft shell crabs (one of the specials) and they arrived Lukewarm. Our waiter was awful never came a checked in with us just dropped appetizers and disappeared then the same with dinner. We had to ask several times for more bread, sat with empty drinks searching for someone to take an order. Overall, I will not be returning.

The grilled calamari was superb, as was the sautéed Dover sole with Italian tomatoes. My wife had the burata with the absolute best prosciutto. Her surf turf dish was amazing. My brother's trippa appetizer was fantastic and the cod messinese was tops. Each dessert was perfect too. The owner pays attention to his guests and his great staff follows his lead. Finally, the cocktails we're prepared expertly.

This restaurant was wonderful! From the time I walked in to the time I left the entire experience was exceptional. I was greeted right away and all the staff were very friendly. I sat at the bar and the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. The bartender Rob recommended a delicious wine that paired well with my dinner. The food was made fast and was so delicious. I would go back again! 10 out of 10

This was a “Thank You” treat for a kind and generous neighbor. We took a chance to try a restaurant neither of us had been to. Such a wonderful surprise from valet parking to a friendly greeting at the door! Lively bar ambiance! Elegant dining room with attentive service! The music ranged decades and played softly ~~ nice touch. The best part? The food was really, really delicious and presentation was magazine-perfect! We shared an order of crab cakes that actually were chuck full of crab with no fillers plus the warm dipping sauce was extraordinary! My neighbor was over the moon with her tender liver and veggies. My deboned sea bass was fresh and mouth watering! The garlic spinach was right on! We'll spread the word and be back again!

If want to have a pleasant Donny experience. Food which will be not only satisfying but with flavor and taste you will not forget, go to Nanni's. Their Osso Bucco with Risotto is excellent. The Mussels in white wine sauce is also very good. You will surely go back again and again as I do!

My husband and I were in desperate need of a couples night out and Nannie's owner and staff made it an incredible night! From the ambiance to the drinks and food, everything was exceptional. We will definitely come back with friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
