I was out with my sister and we needed a place to eat and I am so glad we stopped at ALEV Mediterranean Grill. The food was excellent, I had lamb chops which were both tender and flavorful. The hostess was so very welcoming and attentive I would recommend stopping by for a meal.

Food was so so, had a traditional gyro to go and the meat was not the normal intense garlicky flavors I've come to expect. It didn't have the cucumber tzatziki either. Just what appeared to be a salad dressing. It was also not well priced, for 13$ You expect a bit more value. Finally the bill was 13.81 with tax, handed a 20 and got a 5 back and she kept the change . Didn't complain as I would have left as a tip but really??

This place is the real deal. Real food and real people that are local and have been apart of this North Jersey community for years. The portions are big, the service is quick, and most importantly, it’s a CLEAN establishment. I usually get the lunch special and it’s enough food for 2 people. You can tell that everything is made fresh and made with care. 10/10.
