Oh no, they're closed? We loved this place! Food was fresh and interesting and portion size was generous. I hope they land in a new location.

CLOSED seemingly as of 5/26/22 - doors locked and no lights on. No sign though. Too bad, i need a good Indian place nearby.

The tandoor dishes are not bad and are well presented. Atleast better than the tepid fare found at other nearby restaurants that gets passed of as "authentic" Indian. But the other dishes are bland, generic fare that lack the depth and distinct flavors of expertly cooked Indian food. My family and I've tried many of their lamb, chicken, vegetarian dishes...its mostly below average to average. Not terrible but not great either. The kids have taken a fancy to the most popular of Indian dishes in the US,,the Butter Chicken... the General Tso's of Indian food. To be fair the kids love butter chicken from anywhere, the prep is so simple nearly every restaurant gets it right! And Fusion is the closest so we keep ordering Butter Chicken from them and each time we try other dishes with the hope of uncovering a winner, but we've had no luck till now. Not sure which region or style their Biryani represents but it's not great. Just a note, if you like lamb or goat dishes, from my experience, ordering them in a restaurant is tricky because you may get mostly bones. I've seen this in other restaurants too and except for a few most try to cut costs here. Also, they ask for spice levels(mild, medium, hot etc) when taking the order, but invariably it ends up mild! So they seem to be ignoring this instruction. They are fully takeout now, weren't much of a dine in to begin with, but, they have gotten quite expensive over the years. 3 stars for tandoor dishes, the butter chicken and being relatively close by..until I find any other winners in their offerings??

The vegan dishes we tried were excellent. And the curry shrimp dish was tasty. Dec we nt service for dine-in.

my boyfriend and i were looking for a place to eat one random night and found mostly grill. we were not disappointed! i had the butter chicken with garlic naan and he had spicy goat (i forget the name of the dish). he loves spicy food and absolutely adored how much spice they added. very flavorful. we were to speak to the chef who made our meal and you could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. he told about how they were able to push through the pandemic being a smaller business. they also gave us free dessert!

We did a grubhub order here. The food was exceptional. Lamb chops, salmon and coconut shrimp, were all cooked very well and sauces were perfectly matched.I have no hesitation recommending this establishment and will be returning myself.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered! My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Our first visit. Had classic dishes, Chicken Tika Masala, Mango chicken (loved it!), several flavors of naan, and Rasmalai for dessert. All excellent. We'll def be back soon.

ATTENTION NO MORE DINING IN!!!!! I had a five star review for this place because the food is very good but after going there numerous times and sitting down to eat today I was told by the woman there that they could not serve me because the place was “not appropriate to dine in”. Whatever the hell that means. I told her I’ve eaten there many times. She said I could order as takeout And if I wanted to eat my takeout there I could. In my mind if I order takeout I’m taking it home to eat. This made zero sense. I hate to say this but I will never go there again no matter how good the food is. I will find a place where I can sit down with peace of mind and have a nice meal. It’s a pity that they want to take this nice place with nice people and turn it into your every day uber eats takeout place or like a cheap cheesy takeout Chinese restaurant. Whoever made that decision made a big mistake because as consumers we will not except it and we will MoveOn and if they change the policy again it will be too late because we would have been eating elsewhere by that time. Yes I am and I’m unhappy customer now.

I want to like it, but my meals here have never been complex. Indian Aroma, just down the street, has similar or better flavors, and the restaurants in Lake Hiawatha, which you may be in range of, are on another level entirely. On my most recent trip, I went with chicken tikka masala (I know, I know), garlic naan, and samosas. The chicken tikka masala was sweet and tangy, the garlic naan just baked, but underdeveloped in flavor, and the samosas overfried, with a punch of spice and no contributions from the potatoes or peas. It was all enjoyable, but nothing was exceptional, and I wouldn't say anything had a flavor profile. It has going for it that it's open very late and seems to have fast service.

Went here for the first time. Specifically asked if they could make a dish have absolutely 0 spiciness over the phone. Ordered 3 different dishes with the 0 spiciness dish for my daughter. Went there to confirm the dish is 0 spiciness as the receipt said mild not no spiciness. Whoever was at the cashier starts having an attitude about that's what they said over the phone. Guess what, bring the dish home and it's the spiciest of all the dishes. Totally unacceptable as now I have to cook something separately for my daughter.I guess with this type of customer service it makes sense why the lights on their sign isn't even on.Food is OK but can't recommend this place because of the service. Go over to Indian Aroma half mile down the road instead.

This place is a hidden gem. Authentic Indian food. My dad, who isn't very adventurous, really liked their chicken tikka marsala and I got the butter chicken marsala. The naan is very good too. Mostly a takeout place but the dine-in experience is very nice. Service is great!

I love the eggplant chaat. All the ordered items were made fresh and the naan bread and parathas are one of the best I have ever eaten. I would recommend this restaurant 10/10 if you are looking for fresh authentic Indian food.

I was in the mood for Indian food and found this spot. I ordered my food online and I ordered the Saag Aloo. When I arrived I parked in the mini parking lot. I walked in and and gave the man my name. He gave me my food and I left. When I ate, boy was the food good. I never had Saag Aloo and it didn't disappoint. It had the right flavors and spices. The only issue is I got surprised with a seed from the seasoning in my food and it wasn't tasty. Besides that I really enjoyed my meal. I would definitely return.

We just had one of the best Indian meals we have EVER had, and that counts eating some amazing Indian food in London. It was a long, 19,079 step day in New York City and we were back in New Jersey heading towards our hotel. Indian was what we wanted so we checked our trusty Yelp app. The first place was Covid Closed. Mostly Grill showed up next. When we first arrived at this little place in a small strip mall we were underwhelmed. "Are you sure?" I asked. The Beloved said in no uncertain terms "I AM HUNGRY. FOOD. NOW!" Well, that settled that. In we went. And gasped in pleasure. The smells that greeted us said "This is the real deal." We smiled in anticipation. And as we left...we smiled in satisfaction. We started with Lasuni Gobi, crispy fried cauliflower in a garlic and red spice sauce. It was hot (we got extra spicy) without being all heat and no flavour. We KNEW we were in the right spot after one bite. For the mains we had Pistachio Chicken Kofta and Basil Lamb. The latter was a special creation of the chef. Both were fabulous. Again, spicy but with the flavour that just made your toes curl with its goodness. I just can't emphasize too much how flavourful these dishes were. Spectacular. For sides we had Rosemary and Olives naan, red onion chutney, and raita. These were just as delicious as the mains. One bonus, the food is halal so you know the meat is of top quality and fresh. We had plenty of leftovers and they are going to make a great picnic lunch as we head back home on I80 to Minnesota after a month-long trip. Mostly Grill is The Best. If you are anywhere in Northern Jersey head on over. It's not fancy, but you should be going to a place for the food and not for the upholstery on the chairs!

Delicious! I've eaten Indian food my entire life as I'm half Indian and honestly, I usually cook my own food. I'm West Indian (Caribbean) so the Indian food is much different from the authenticity of the food in India. The spices are a little different, as well as the dishes but the aromas are similar. Eating Authentic Indian food in America was trial and error, so I usually cooked it, both ways authentic & West Indian. However, I decided to try this place fora take our order. The food was flavorful & the right amount of spices were used. I would definitely recommend this place & order many more dishes. In addition, it was very convenient to order online, as I was able to pay & choose my time to pick up. On picking up, the order was ready as promised, packaged very well & the staff was smiling. Great customer service! Phenomenal food! Clean environment.
