Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha). After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich. As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!

Stopped by for a breakfast sandwich for now, and a sub for later. The friendly folks customized The Adolfo for me. Fluffy eggs, potato, provolone, hot peppers plus sausage, on an amazing Portuguese roll. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. IMHO. So. Tasty. A worthy Friday reward - or any day!!

Iorio deli is a great place to grab some food. The meatballs will remind you of Sunday dinner at nonnas. Always had service with a smile and left with a full belly. Definitely come by if you’re in the area you will not be disappointed.

One of the “ Best” Sloppy Joes in New Jersey. If you know Sloppy Joe’s, you will most certainly enjoy this one. Keep in mind , this Sloppy Joe tastes more like the Morris & Essex Train line version. Not the Jewish version.Go get Filthy!Sloppy Joe

Absolutely the best sandwiches in Union County! If you have a large appetite, you might be able to finish a sandwich. You will get your money's worth. Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong here.

This place is great! Gilda and Joe are so personable and kind. I love Gilda and she should me and my friend the catering hall and its just beautiful. Her meatballs are the best and no wonder they are #1 in Jersey. I will definitely be going back and if you haven’t tried this place, you’re losing out Big Time!!!! Love you Gilda & Joe!❤️❤️

Great food and very friendly owners! Good place for a nice deli sandwich for lunch. We also ordered catering for a party here and everything was reasonably priced and tasted really good.

We deviated from the Garden State to find lunch and a bathroom. The IORIO Deli’s staff and sandwiches were outstanding! I highly recommend this family business just a few minutes from the Garden State.

Nice tucked away store that has some parking off street spots but no parking on streets without a permit. That being said, friendly atmosphere and very clean for starters. Had two sandwiches that were well worth the price. Will be visiting again and again. Get your lottery tickets as well as a great sandwich!

I enjoyed the food. Had some cheese ravioli, Eggplant rolitini and stuffed pepperoni bread. I highly recommend this place. And the guy behind the the counter was first class.
