Drove up last week with my friend from Philly who makes pizza for a living. We were excited to finally be there since we have known about the spot for years, but when we got there, we were told we couldn't eat there and it was takeout only. That was news to us. We don't live in the area and had nowhere to eat takeout... There were a bunch of empty tables and no other customers, but were told that we couldn't eat there. It felt ridiculous to get this response and was a real bummer. Leaving 3 stars to be polite and not look like I'm just angry.Reply -We drove up to this location because I live closer to noth Jersey. We were going to an event nearby after, and anyway, we just wanted to go to the original spot! Im just saying I wish I knew we wouldn't be able to eat there. We would have just made different plans, OR we could have just sat down for 10 mins and ate at the empty table!! Maybe it's more complicated than that idk. I'll leave 4 stars as a gesture that I'm just being honest about my experience. Thank you.

Food was mid. Nothing special. The lady who worked the counter was quite rude. I brought in my own water bottle and she got pressed because I didn't buy it there. My bad I didn't wanna buy an overpriced water from you guys ? The place itself needs a cleanup as well. Bit messy and outdated.

After 2 years of following on IG our family was COMPLETELY blown away, Amazed and happily FULL!!! Joanne took great care of us and walked us thru their incredible and overwhelming choices. We knew for sure we wanted buffalo chicken something.....dear God it did NOT disappoint. Then we got a TRIPLE THREAT??? and thunder-sticks ?. This place is just the best kept home-town best pizza and at this point the 1-hour drive is A piece of cake and we will be back. Hat's off to Joe!!!

pizza is horrible and has so much grease! ordered the penne vodka pie; and my gf and I felt so sick we threw up after eating! if you want a HIGH QUALITY pizza that doesn't make you feel bloated and sick after eating it; try Arties in Maplewood!

I had a one star review up months ago and took it down after the owner messaged me being a bully. He said how dare I leave a bad review and he would have helped me had i asked. I gave him a chance to review my order and or refund at least part of my order and he never bothered. He's arrogant and rude. I left a bad review because the pizza was baaad. I mean chuckle cheese level. The pics look great on instagram, but it's not the same My order was also wrong. I had every right after spending over 60 on two pies to leave a bad review. My kids didn't even eat it. And they are not that picky. I said, what happened to the customer is always right? The owner told me that is not how he runs his business because he works hard. We all work hard! What does that have to do with selling a bad product and getting honest feedback? I took the review down to give him a chance, but he proved he is not a business man. Customers are not top priority. You don't treat customers like this. Idk how he's getting any good reviews.

Joe's is really good, but mainly the Red Bank location. I would give the Red Bank location a 4.5 and the Roselle Park location about a 3. I've sat in and ordered out at the Red Bank location. I've gotten the thunder sticks, chicken wings, chicken parm sandwich, cheesesteak wrap, mac and cheese, and the penne Alfredo pizza. Everything was delicious, fresh, hot, and well seasoned. Service was good and this location was spacious. I ordered out from the Roselle one twice and it just missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. There was a lack of seasoning on many of the same items we ordered from the other location which had strong flavors of garlic, herbs, and salted butter. Could have just been two off days. Overall, if you're in the area, it's worth trying it, the menus are huge with so many unique options to choose from.

This place is amazing! They have dozens of different types of pizzas. We walked in on a Saturday night and they weren’t offering dine-in service due to a staff shortage but we came from out of town for an event nearby and were heading back home to Long Island and the boys behind the counter were so kind and served the pizzas to us when we sat down. The pizzas were delicious. We ordered a meat lovers personal pie and a bbq chicken personal pie. Also, order their garlic knots! They are like warm fluffy pillows!! Their marinara sauce is tasty as well. P.S. the parking is not great on the streets but don’t park in the restaurant’s lot next door, they will watch you and ask where you are going.
