First and last time I go to that place, the food was tasteless, I ordered a molcajete for 2 people and very little quantity, the meat was dry and tasteless and the chives were raw and not to mention that they charge you an 18% tip and parking.I don't recommend that place for that price there are better places.

We liked the birria here (they have it on the nachos, burrito, quesadilla, tacos...). We ordered the Cielo rojo, La Llorona de Tamarindo (even came with spicy tamarind candy on a straw), and La Envidiosa as drinks and liked all of them. Food was so plenty we had to take half of what we ordered home. Decor and ambience is very nice.

Regarding the very bad food, Paella Afrodita (impossible to eat, totally full of oil, excessive salt, a lot of rice with vegetables, clams and nothing else, the spiteful steak comes with beans and rice (a rice that is harder than raw), The chicken on the kids plate was good (it was just fried chicken and potatoes); The only thing that was good were the drinks. Regarding the tenacious service, since we entered begging for a baby chair (I had to get it myself), a scandal that leaves Although it is pleasant to eat in (it looks more like a tavern than a restaurant), there is no space to even pass between the tables, and to top it all off, my husband was burned by the waiter with the plate on the table next to him, I would never return nor recommend it. This place is horrible, it's not Mexican. It's way over priced. They charge you for a service they don't give AND they charge for using your card, a percentage that's over what is legal and without letting it be known either. If you're looking for Mexican food, La Fortaleza is better. For Colombian, Brisas Colombianas is the place. Valet parking is charged, as well as when they ask you if you'd like to take a picture. They charge you for things that aren't ever explained. All this for unflavored food.
