Absolutely disgusted with this place. We come here a lot to get our pasta. We thought we would dine in and were told they didn't have a table for 3! There were 2 emty tables for 2 available. An empty table of 6 that was being used for an empty car seat! I took pictures of the empty available tables! I have never been treated like that in my lifetime! Loyal customers lost! Looks like it happens often!

Fantastic Italian deli! You'd be hard pressed to find anything not good here. They make a cream of artichoke soup that was just awesome!!

Small, quiet and limited menu. BYOB. What they offer is really good. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Deserts are exceptional from their bakery. Well worth a try.

Stopped by at 3:40pm on 12/31, hours on the website said opened until 4pm.When I pulled directly in front of the door a man with gray hair and glasses looked at me through the store window and proceeded to lock the door. Very disappointed with his rude behavior as this is not an appropriate way to treat a customer. :-/. I’ll find another Italian deli to patronize in the future.

Fresh bread is amazing, great choices of cheese and meat, fresh made mozzarella was awesome. Staff was very patient with an out of Towner and first time customer.

This has become a restaurant I have started to come to regularly. I was really looking forward to eating here yesterday and today. Yesterday it was closed which is fine no complaint there.. so today I was really looking forward to eating my favorite dish here. After finally persuading my wife this would be the best place to eat I called in bit before 3:30pm to order takeout 30m before closing. Normally takes about 12m for them to make the dish when I ordered in the past.. But the lady said they stopped serving dinner and then said it was just because they are too busy and the chef didn't feel like making anymore food.. This is quite frustrating to hear a business that is open wouldn't take my order during business hours for an easy dish to make. It makes the customer feel undervalued like a number. If they were out of ingredients I would understand. However it was more of we dont feel like it we are going home soon attitude and pretending to act sorry about it on the phone. I'll still come back because I like the food but making each customer feel valued is also important. Part of this is the values the owner shows by example (no blame on the owner BTW I dont know or have met him/her), but the biggest part is how helpful or positive a person naturally is. I go to some places where the employees always have a good attitude and greet you and it makes me feel good before i walk in, when im there, and when i leave. It actually makes my day better. And then what happens is your have customers that become like walking billboards for you. It might cost a bit more to get a more desirable employee, but since word of mouth is one of the best types of marketing for a business, it's important to remember this and almost think of it like a great way to help market.

I placed a pick up using the slice app they offer on their website. I go to pick up my confirmed order. The girl behind the counter was not attentive to all the customers waiting. I finally got to the counter and said I had a pick up she asked my name and was like oh I voided your order. I was confused and then she got another worker to come over and tell me that they were so busy and short staffed and that’s why. She did not reach out to me to let me know they weren’t making pizza, she voided the WHOLE order. I asked them to order the pasta and soup then and they refused saying they were closing soon. That’s horrible customer service! Anthony and sons has really gone down hill. Every time I try to go there or order food it’s an issue. Awful customer service and they will be losing customers and money operating their horrible business like that.

Awesome food! I gave it 4 stars because the staff is not too friendly, especially at the Denville location.

This place is great! If you are looking for home-made artisan breads or simply regular baked goods, this place has it. You can also order sandwiches on these breads that are very good.
