Went in here last minute for Mother’s Day treats. My grandmother and mother were very pleased and they are quite picky eaters. Grandmother described the red velvet cupcake as a perfect balance of flavors, and my mother devoured her chocolate cupcake and chocolate strawberry when she insisted she would save it for later.
I usually go to Cups and Cakes for their famous scones (Cranberries orange is my favorite), baby cakes or the delicious devil dog for the mister. When time came to choose a bakery for my daughter's shower I did not hesitate. Always aware of the latest trends (I am not), Denise and her team prepared a beautiful cake and surprised me with the cutest placement cookies. Not only are the baked goods delicious, but the woman who was working behind the bakery counter was such a kind soul. I was having lunch down the street at a place where there was no restroom, and I went into 2 other businesses asking to use the restroom and was turned away. When I came here, she let me use the restroom even though it wasn’t for the public, and then sent me home with a complimentary lemon bar.
