My partner and I had lunch at this place today. The restaurant bit itself was a tad scruffy, but we didn't mind it. The food took a while to come out, but as it was made fresh we didn't mind waiting. The food was delicious and fresh. Its the first time my partner and i have had to get a box to bring our leftovers home ever, it was that good. Thanks to the chef who was working solo today. :)

Being Chinese Muslim it's hard to find a hot pot place with spicy broth that's not made with pork bones. Not only that it has a lot of flavor too! Small place but I love the food here. Also highly recommend the white peach fruit tea!

Today was a perfect rainy day for hot pot. This place was pretty good overall. It was small which may fit about 20 people max. The food was well priced. My 13 month old loved everything. I want to try the bbq screwers next time.

Great little hot pot place! The broth was so flavorful. We ordered one with 1/2 1/2 of spicy and regular and another one with mushroom. So good and it’s BYOB! There’s a wine and beer shop across the street so it worked perfectly. Service is great and loved the little cozy restaurant feel.

This way my first time having hot pot in NJ since I usually go in Manhattan. We went on a Wednesday night, and compared to spots I’ve gone to in the city, this was so-so. Maybe that’s not a fair comparison to make, but regardless of that, the food was just *not* it. The spicy broth was way too spicy (even for me and I love spice) and too flavorful (which i didn’t really know was possible). It was nearly inedible, and I struggled to eat it.The broth was doused in chili oil and then I made the mistake of ordering the mashed garlic dipping sauce which had chili oil AGAIN. I wish the broths and sauces had more detailed descriptions so I could have avoided that or that the waitress stepped in to warn me how spicy all of it was going to be.Our waitress was nice, but it was pretty difficult to get her attention since she kept going over to her friend’s table to chat. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible but I’m not sure I’ll be coming back.
