2nd time here. My first experience, the pork fried rice had bits with a weird crunch which turned me off. Threw it out. Tried them months later today. Gross isn't even a way to describe it. I was reading reviews as I waited on my food. Comments of hair and other things being in the food. The rumors are true. Found multiple bits of hair and lint/fuzz Stuck together with each bite. Once again, going in the garbage. Stay away from this place at all costs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I paid $2 extra to get white meat in my sesame chicken. It turns out I got sesame bread. It was all coating and no chicken at all. Asked for extra sauce and it was bone dry. I guess all that bread soak up the sauce. It went in the trash. Spare ribs were ok.

New to the area was looking for a good chinese food spot. I ordered today I was feeling a little under the weather and the food was amazing. So happy I read the reviews!

Friendly service, definitely good food. I actually dined in, which these places aren't really meant for and the ambiance is not the focus because they're mostly takeout. That being said, I was able to sit here and get some work done on my laptop while enjoying a good meal that was reasonably priced. In this particular area, it seems that good Chinese food places have become scarce, some of them surprisingly bad, so this one is a welcome cut above the rest in this particular area. Have I had better? Sure, but definitely not in this town or its immediately surrounding towns for quite some time. Definitely very good, recommended, best I presently know of in the Rutherford/EastRutherford/Carlstadt general area.

BEWARE do not eat here. I caught the Cooke Literally spitting in my food ! All because he was upset that I brought my food back because there was a long hair in it. It’s totally unacceptable! I had to contact municipal health department because who knows what else they are doing on that place .

Good food and portions. Soup isn't watered down. Pork fried rice is flavorful. I often get their lunch specials since I work nearby. Note they have a $15 minimum for credit/debit transactions.

I am incredibly disappointed. What can I say? We ordered for delivery, were told 45-60 min. After 1 & 1/2 hrs , we called, just to find out that a mistake was made with one of the items. Really???? Why wouldn't you call the customer to tell them there was a problem that was holding up the order? After it finally showed up, the quality was even more of a disappointment. The cold sesame noodle was made with Udon noodles, it was very pasty; the sauce was not smooth at all. The dumplings were very light on filling. And the Pu-pu platter was greasy. The oil must not have been hot enough. Don't know how the star rating happened, but we will definitely not be ordering from here again.

First time ordering, had the beef and broccoli with pork fried rice - and an order of chicken wings. Food wasn't salty! The manager/chef/cashier was friendly; our interaction didn't exceed more than 2 minutes but he smiled the whole duration. Their chicken wasn't dry and had nice flavor. You'd think people can't mess up fried chicken, but you'd be wrong.. so I was very surprised Golden House knew how to fry their chickens. I'll definitely go back for another quick lunch. Fair pricing too!

After what I saw today don’t think I’m coming back again. I’m even skeptical of eating the food after what I just saw. The cook literally picked his nose with a tiny little tissue and never washed his hand after rolled his hand in the little tissue. How are people not seeing or reporting this? It’s really disgusting. So sad?
